    Cheap Sky

Hey, sorry if this has been posted before, but people are selling codes for this on ebay, but i thought i would just share the info for free.

just register your details on there and then go to the sky homepage and select your package.

Then on the right hand side of the screen there will be an "add your voucher" link or something.

    Voila!

(if this breaches some sort of rules on the board, then please remove, but i cant see that it does!!)

ALSO: Use quidco for some serious cashback-age!!

This is looking like £40 for the year if you use topcashback.
I don't even watch much TV but.... HD box.

Does this only work for businesses? We're existing sky customers but the free HD box would be nice. Only problem I can is that I have to enter a business name in one of the boxes on the form.

            I've just gone for this.
I wonder if we also get the £50 M&S voucher? ("order online before 25th March")
If so, they've paid me to have it for the year....

Ah bum. Phoneline. What's the deal with the phoneline? I currently have freesat with a box I was given, but don't plug that into the phone. Will they be happy if I just trail a wire across the floor for the install and then uplug it afterwards (replug in when/if I want to Payperview)?

That's what I did when I was with Sky...

Apparently (according to someone on this very forum who wrote the code for it, their name escapes me at present, sorry!)... the phoneline is mostly for checking multiroom subscriptions. Obviously you can use it for PPV etc... though.

Charles... what package are you having to effectively get it for free? Its £10/month to have HD channels btw...

The voucher code gives the £10HD pack for free, and the HD+ box and half price sub for a year.

I'm just getting the variety pack which is normally £18. This then becomes half price for a year at £9pcm. Topcashback is £65 for new sky signups. And it's £50 M&S vouchers if you sign up online before 25th March. So essentially free.

Just want to say I got this deal working last month and it's all been fine for me. I think you're able to unplug the phone once it's in, think they use it for viewing statistics or troubleshooting your box.

I just did this too. I didn't even notice the company name thing as I hit the autofill button! Essentially I'll now be getting HD Sky, Phone and broadband for £10 less than I've been paying for Phone and broadband. i got told about this by my friend/colleague sitting next to me and only just spotted it here!

What are the implications of this for an existing Sky HD customer who also has their broadband and phone? Are there any discounts available for us?

No. If you are in a position to cancel your contract with Sky then phone them and they'll likely do you a deal to keep you though.
