I wasn't given the option to merge, I was told by the rep who replied to my request that I would have to cancel and reorder. I've since emailed them again asking for an alternative solution.

For future reference, if you'd like to add items to an existing order, first return to our website and place a new order for the additional items. Once the new order has been submitted, click on Your Account at the top of any page of our website. Then, click the "Combine orders" link. Once you've signed in, you will be able to view your order history and combine qualifying orders.

Who thinks it's safe for me to cancel my Play and Amazon pre-orders since I was only the 2nd person to pre-order one from Morissons? I paid a ?10 deposit, so I'd rather go through them now...

How organised are supermarkets when it comes to pre-orders? I have a feeling it'd be in the queue at midnight for mine (or whenever they open) in case they ignore order and allocate first come first served.

I had to say what time I wanted to pick it up and it says on the note I got that if I haven't picked it up after 2 hours they might sell it to someone else.

Just an update on this. The lady behind the counter told me that you preorder instore but its delivered to your door on day of release, so you may not get it on the day

some great bargains here, but as I'm trading in my DSI XL, I'll have to get the higher price in store . Plus I reckon it might be too late now to get one on launch day.

Not at all a mate of mine just ordered hers from Morrisons and only had 2 other people on the list so has been told that it should be available day 1.

Sell your XL on ebay you should still get about ?80 for it.
