I don't know if this is really worth a thread or if anybody else is interested...
I've been trading in a number of games at CeX recently and have been studying the prices given at their shops for various games and competing chains to see who gives best value for money. Anyway, it would seem they've just dropped their prices on a lot of older games. So if you've got a credit note and you're looking to buy, now would be a good time.
For example (all PS3 prices):
Modern Warfare 2 was (IIRC) ?15, now ?10.
De Blob 2 was ?10, now ?6.
Uncharted 2 was ?12, now ?10.
MGS4 was ?12, now ?10.
Basically a lot of them have dropped from one price bracket to the next. I can only assume they're making way for the Christmas/Q4 rush. Glad I traded in my football games last week!
