Amazon LOVEFiLM.com offer? Catch??

Like me you've probably had the bumf through the post if your an amazon customer?

30 days free trial of lovefilm, after your first disc is dispatched they send you a free ?20 amazon gift voucher, and as I understand it, I can cancel anytime after my first rental and pay nothing? So a ?20 amazon gift card for free then?.. am I right? Or is there a catch I've missed?

The catch is that it's a great service, so you'll more often than not keep paying for the service.

I don't doubt it's a great service, if you want online rentals, which I don't. I just want a free voucher

I signed up for that. Thinking of putting the voucher (whenever it arrives) towards the Razer Tournament 360 pad.

I got into Lovefilm through this offer, there's no catches. My only problem with Lovefilm is you can't just put a stop on your account, you have to totally close your account or use the 'take a holiday' option which goes up to 3 months maximum I think. If you just want the ?20 then that shouldn't be a problem.

The catch is, even if you dump the service, they will send you bucketloads of emails for ever more. I ****ing hate them.

I should probably set up an email filter...

I too can confirm that there's no catch. Only thing I'd advise would be to keep an eye out for the voucher code which is mailed to you. I missed mine but a quick call to their customer services got it all sorted out.

Thinking there's always a catch, I threw mine in the recycling bag. But if there really is no catch then maybe I'll take it back out and use it. Silly to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I did it back in the summer. Took out the most expensive package, rented a bunch of films and games, cancelled before the end of the trial and got the Amazon voucher.

I've had my first disc dispatched, but only had that in my queue - no voucher... Online I've read that it wants 10 titles in your rental queue, so I've done that but still no voucher... Hmm

Here are the terms in order to qualify:

This offer requires you to fulfil certain criteria to be eligible for
the ?20 Amazon e-voucher, including:

* Registering for a free trial period,
* Filling in all the required personal information
* Using the required promotional code (this can sometimes be added
automatically)
* Adding at least 10 items to your selection list at the time of
registration.
* Having at least one dispatch.

Received my voucher last night and spent it on pc skyrim.

I only added ten titles yesterday... Does it matter when I wonder? I haven't had my voucher...
