Wow, I never realised you could make symlinks in windows (mklink). So you could have an SSD for the OS and installed apps and then have all your docs/pics/videos on an HDD but still appearing as if they were in the normal folders (c:/user/charles/documents etc). Suddenly that makes this rather more appealing.

How easy is it to swap over to this drive and do as Charles mentions in the post above from my current 500gb standard HDD?

You'd have to reinstall windows (presuming that's what you are using) and all your apps and stuff on the SSD..... Then find some way removing everything apart from docs/pics/vids on your HDD (might be easier to copy them to another HDD). Then just google for "symlink windows" for easy instructions to set a link on the SSD pointing at the HDD so that windows believes the HDD contents are on the main drive.
