Very nearly bought Uncharted 3 for a friend for ?5 but they couldn't find it in the stock. Kind of expected that as I thought the pricing was a little unreal.

I only posted this as i thought it would be some help for any of you guys, Its not as if i had bought 500 copies of the same game and sold them for double the price. I really wanted far cry and cant afford it at full price right after buying a wii u,

I just got a few games, star fox 3ds for 10, dead or alive 3ds for 10 and nintendogs and cats for the daughters Xmas for ?10 too, a couple of 98 p games too but nothing great and once upon a monster for 5

i also tried to buy fit active 2 on ps3 for 98p, guy couldnt find the box as he was looking in the drawers, i explained that it was a big cardboard box, he them went, came back to say they have it but will take ages to get out. Walked off, came back to say the dont have one after all - but they have the wii version for ?30..

kinda got the impression he couldnt be arsed to get it out

Well I did a mini-tour of some of the Leeds based Morrisons yesterday and picked up:

SSFIV PS3 - ?5
Crysis 2 PS3 - 98p
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS - ?10

They were each at independent stores so I conclude that there are some bizzarely great game offers at Morrisons atm nationwide but it varies on a store-by-store basis what titles will be on the shelves.

Still, if anyone can make it to the Guiseley store they still have X-Com for ?7.00 and Dead Rising: Off the Record for ?5.00, plus some random titles.

Highly irritated today, went to the scabbiest Moggys I know (Leeds Merrion Centre) on my 30-minute lunch break to get some PSN points. Was not expecting to find any awesome bargs but noticed they had two copies of Skyward Sword on Wii for ?15, Lego Harry Potter on PS3 for ?5 and (the not amazingly bargainous but instant impulse purchase) Ridge Racer Unbounded on PS3 for a tenner.

Took them to customer service (yeah, opened games in drawers...) and they couldn't even find Skyward Sword, plus the Lego Harry Potter only had the display cover, not the 'normal' one, and the box was f*cked, to boot. So they're like faffing about and my lunch break hits the 20 minute mark and I'm getting all stressed, so I just get a refund on the SS and the LHP, then sod off back to work, the only 'bargain' obtained a copy of Ridge Racer Unbounded, a game I'm not even expecting to like(!) Truly infuriating - WHY EVEN ADVERTISE THE F*CKERS IF THEY'RE NOT THERE, Morrisons - I f*cking wanted Skyward Sword???!!!!!!

Oh to have picked up a copy of Driver SF and Uncharted 3 for a fiver a pop, though, sheesh!

I went out of my way to check the largest Morrisways near me to see if they had Driver SF for a fiver and it was still ?15 on both formats.

Morrisons is always hideously disorganised and my local tesco never stock the new games but put them up on the chart and keep an empty space for them with the no stock sign for weeks...

I don't mind the slight disorganisation but agree on the irritation of paying for the game, taking it to CS and them not being able to find it. They need to be sure they have what they're putting on their shelves in stock. It affects their reputation otherwise.

Worth a look down your local morrisons just now, they're clearing out a tonne of games. picked up 14 PS3/xbox 360 titles for 98p today!

Just came back from Morrisons in Farnborough and got Kirby's Epic Yarn on the Wii and a sealed copy of Super Street Fighter 4 on the 3DS, both for 98p!
