Wow harsh comments, I thought it was pretty good for what it was. Certainly better than the last Lost Planet.

Dragon's Dogma was brilliant; a little uncertain as to the implementation of this given it sounds like it should've been DLC, but for that price I'm in. I'm sure I've seen the Japanese version for sale at around ?4000, too!

I thought it was dull as can be. Had horrible world design, the companion system was weird and the combat felt like an RPG trying to be actiony and as a result didn't do a very good job being either.

I still say its worth 1p though

Well the original was occasionally buggy and sometimes your character would get mangled up with what they were trying to mount at the time but otherwise it was a failry good attmept at an action-RPG I thought.

Hopefully Dark Arisen adds more boss battles and cuts away the crap escort missions from the original. Then we might have a truly quality title to play again.

Price has gone up to ?18 on Amazon now, but I'm really looking forward to this. I loved Dragon's Dogma (I picture rmoxon reading this, shaking his head and muttering ), it wasn't a perfect game by any stretch, but what it did well - the enemies and combat - it did really well. Any word on how many hours of gameplay the new content provides?
