I mentioned the Woolworth's sale here weeks ago - there are bargains, like XBox Hitman Blood Money ?14.99, but you'll find the good games have often sold out when you actually go to the till :-(

The ones they tend to have left are questionable titles like the original Doom 3, Gun etc or games that aren't so much of a saving ie. XBox GTA: SA or PS2 Silent Hill 4 @ ?11.99 which can be found new as part of official multi-packs at prices as low as ?17.99. Still worth looking though for those genuine bargains.

but stuff like doom 3 is now 2.50, all stuff is half the sales price, seriously just take what you find to the till you will get a nice surprize if they have stock !

As I said over at AVforums - avoid the mail order if possible - they're rubbish. Can anyone check if this is available in-store?

Not in my two local Woolworths today less than an hour ago - Hitman BM was still ?14.99 and actually marked as 'temp out of stock', Doom 3 ?4.99 which is still too much IMHO, GTA:SA was ?7.99 which did tempt me. Believe me if I could have bought Hitman BM at ?7.50 I'd have grabbed it like a mongoose spying a nice fat snake.

I saw this in wollies for ?19.99 and not only have I never seen it before but I couldent believe what a great pack it was.

I've just searched for it online and you can get it for ?14.99. What a bargin!

Lumines 2 on the PSP for 15 pounds from dvd.co.uk - great price for a great game.

Amped 3 is ?13 in HMV, cheapest 360 game afaik! (King Kong was in the 2 for ?20 at gamestation but they sold pretty quick...and there weren't any other 360 games in that promotion)

Did you ask them to let you know what other XBox stuff they've got left? It's slim pickings but I've managed to get the following over the last two days from two different branches:

I really wanted to get SSX On Tour and DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball as they would've been both ?2 a pop, and missed out on Moto GP and Revenge Of The Sith, which would both have been ?2.50 a pop.
