They cancelled my pre order for Metroid 3 when I used that code yesterday, so I tried to order it again today using the code & its worked fine but on back-order

The code is meant for the virgin credit card holders. I ordered something on Monday from them and it went through fine, but from the sounds of things they'll just cancel the order the moment it comes into stock (mine was on backorder too). I guess yours was cancelled on the in-stock item and it will be cancelled again when it's back in stock.
