Went into HMV in reading yesterday and they are selling Guitar Hero for ?29.99, which seems like a pretty good deal to me.

No idea if this is nationwide though.

I saw an item in Guilford HMV for ?29.99 that looked suspically like Guitar Hero but it was the guitar controller only.

Either you got lucky or you missed what it was, I want that game bad!

Todays (29/7) copy of the Sun has a voucher valid for 1 week giving 20% off all consoles and accessories at ASDA. Nice one in particular for anyone after a 360 .

I dunno what Asda round your way is like but my closest is 20 miles away, so I thought I'd phone them 1st just to check.

So, ?280 minus 20% = ?224. Thats ?14 more than buying it from anywhere else!.
I asked the member of staff & Electricals Manager on more than 1 ocassion if they hadnt mixed it up with the Premium version & they hadnt. They even scanned it thru the till to check & it came up at ?280. I tried to explain (without being pushy or clever) that everywhere else was selling a Core 360 for ?210 max but all I got was, "Well thats the price we have it at so theres nothing I can do about that Sir".

I'm just glad I didnt waste the time & effort travelling up there now.
