Rule of Rose - $19.99 - EXPIRED

Videogames Plus are getting in some rebuild copies of Rule of Rose.

Normally this is extortionate on ebay so this seems like a good deal if you want o play it rather than collect the original.

EDIT - Atlus no longer owns the rights to Rule of Rose so the rebuild is not happening. Got a refund and email from VG+ about it.

What is a rebuild copy though?

I assume it is just a reprint. Couldn't see anything on the site saying what it was. I've ordered a copy.

It's one of those bad games with an interesting story. Limited release pushed the price sky high.

It's mega rares and something I've been needing to get to add to my survival horror collection. I'm a sucker for survival horror, no matter how crap some of the games may be.

Edit: The reason for it's limited numbers is due to the fact that it was banned pretty much in Europe and got a limited release in the U.S due to it's controversial content involving sexual cruelty to young children from what I've read. Which the Dev's denied. But that remains to be seen until a play through. So we shall see.

At ?12 it's certainly not a terrible buy. It's a pity though, that so many cool Japanese horror games have clunky Gameplay.
