I don't think the DS Saturn is a good price at all. It's not boxed for starters, and it wont run Metal Slug, OutRun or Space Harrier either.

there is a fully boxed and mint one on the bay for around £190 (seller neo-zeed), so the loose DS saturn is pretty decent if its in excellent condition (the cardboard board is costing you £100)

heres a good price, if your feeling abit flush - a VGI bargain!

That's fair enough, but I'd expect to pay £120 for a boxed one.

Metal Slug works fine on my Derby Saturn. Dunno about the JP ver of Space Harrier.
