They are micro USB arent they? So wouldnt a normal plug in USB wall wart with USB micro cable work? Or was it USB mini? Either way it still stands.

No they had their own special charger not used on any other Gameboy or DS model

Doh, confused myself with what I read. USB charging cables are available cheaply and they can be plugged into normal USB wall warts, got tons from different phones I've had in the past.

Mine came without a charger. Just get yourself one of those USB cables cheap from ebay/amazon.
