Sure about the XL? I found it kinda heavy and not nice to play on. DSi or Lite would be better IMO.

Lite would be nice for GBA games but the XL is better for the screen size which will help her play some of the stylus based games.

5.99 preowned at game at the moment i got a copy off amazon last year for a tenner but there prices seems to be around 15.99 for a preowned copy now.
