For Battle Gear 3, is Battle Gear mode online only which requires a code to enter or does missing out on that section not really detract from anything - assume the online no longer functions.

I forget exactly what's missing from the Asian version but all the tracks and cars are there in an arcade mode. I would imagine online no longer functions. I played it shortly before selling my PS3 and I'd forgotten how much fun it is, very good game.
