    Sega USB Saturn pads

Got a bunch of these USB pads brand new and boxed, perfect for Ouya or emulators. Runs fine with Kega Fusion Mega Drive emulator on my Mac.

Looking for ?7 inc P&P, but am open to trades for PAL-JAP Gamecube, Japanese Mega Drive and GB/GBA stuff. Message me if you've got something I maybe interested. (I have most of the easy to acquire games and systems)

    thanks!

I will take one of these please, either cash or trade. I'll pm you a list of trades when I get chance. In the meantime could you pm payment details just in case?

Are those the official Sega pads? How many have you got?

          Acidebearboy — PM'd.

Mr_Pie — these are the official Sega Play pads, which while not quite as good as the original SLS Sega Saturn USB pads (I have a grey one, and a white multi-coloured button one) it's not very far off. They were available about 4 years ago if you signed up to the Sega Play site for $15 and paid $5 shipping for the pad.

Biggest difference is the d-pad (feels different) and shoulder buttons (not as clicky) but the weight of the pad is comparable, and the plastic body feels good, not flimsy or anything. They show up on my Mac as a 'segaplay' USB device, and worked straight off with Kega. I have quite a few! Discounts for multiples.

Got mine today - I know not really the place but thought a mini-review might be in order as I notice a few people have asked some questions.

Worth mentioning I have owned (and modded ;/) most Saturn variations over the years. As well as doing many JAMMA/Supergun/Neo pad converts, so am quite familiar with the inners and outers of quite a few Saturn pads and sticks.

I'm running a desktop with W7 64bit on an InFocus HD Projector.

I have tried this on Kega, SSF (Saturn emu) and MAME and have been pleasantly surprised.

Running it with SF Zero 3 on SSF, there felt like some minor lag and the d-pad felt not quite as nice as the original Saturn pad - although that could be because it's new. The shoulder buttons feel different to a Saturn pad, but it's no biggie. Incidentally changing the command input on the Saturn version of Zero 3 to 'normal' from 'arcade' helped. Yes the pad feels slightly stiffer than the original, but not hugely noticeable.

On MAME and Kega it ran extremely well. No lag on MAME SF Zero 3 or SF 2 Hyperfighting. Worked beautifully, which leads me to believe the SSF emulator itself might be a tad laggy. Overall for ?7 I'd highly recommend one of these. Can finally play beat-em-ups on MAME without the dreaded 360 pad! Woop

Anyone know if these work with the USB adapter for classic Xbox?
