The more exotic nature of Arcade game setups and my lack of knowledge on them has always scared me away from buying any tbh.

You'd need either an arcade cab or a supergun. A supergun comes in many forms but is essentially just an interface between the jamma edge on a game and your TV, PSU and controllers. You can spend a little or a lot on them depending what you want. There are some cheap bare pcb ones where you have to add your own psu, video cables, controllers etc. all the way upto some expensive professionally made systems which include everything.

So multicart > Neo Geo board > Supergun > controller + PSU

Gonna be honest with you though. I just bought a Framemeister mini from Yakumo, and pre-ordered a PSIO for my PS1, so funds are kinda low right now. It'll probably be sold by the time I have new moneys. Still, I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders about these things. So thank you for taking the time... ^^
