    Yeah the wee yellow light!
At first I thought Yod@ had stuck it in when he modded my Silver PS2 a few weeks back. Then I swapped the Hdd into another PS2 in have and it had the same wee yellow light inside

I've just been to divineo to buy this but saw it is no longer sold, then saw this thread and was about to post that it is no longer sold but you got there before me (man you are up early!)

Anyone know where else sells this?

Just been looking for anywhere that sells it (you seen the prices on Ebay?!?) and came across this:

Looks to be a sligtly more enhanced (ie can cope with CDs as well as DVDs) version of the hd loader.

On sale at Console Maniac.com - anyone ever bought from these guys?

Very tempted to give it a go as would rather not use a downloaded version (but may well have to)

Presumably, however, HD Advance is more likely to work on an unchipped PS2 than any download, yes? I still quite fancy the idea of being able to play Psyvariar without putting up with the disc whine, and one-off use of a slidecard to play imports would be majorly tempting, as well.

Quite tempted to get one of these myself now.

Will a UK/PAL BB Adapter work on a JPN Modified White Ceramic v10 PS2?

I've not nothing better to do, so I thought I'd take a few pictures to show those who are wondering how this whole thing works how easy it all is.

How come you have Street Fighter Alpha 3 on there? Is there some way of getting PS1 games working? You can't get SFA3 for PS2 can you?

I named it incorrectly. It is actually 3rd Strike

Ah, right, that'd explain it then.

True, but I thought it was because its a CD-based game (the only sort I'd be that interested in transferring, thanks to the PS2's infamous rubbishness at playing them reliably or quietly). This new version seems to come with a seperate disc designed for doing just that.

HDLoader supports CD games anyway, though. I've installed stuff like Rez and Outrun without any problems.

That said, I have had a higher failure rate with CD games than DVDs, it seems. Gradius V, Virtua Racing, Psyvariar and Tsugunai all failed to work.
