The soundtrack album, the snake eater CD single and the first bite CD (given away to pre-orders I think). Altogether they unlock 2 facepaints (brown/green) and three camo patterns for use.

Dunno what the score will be with Subsistence, I would expect you'll still need the key discs just as you would still need to download the other extra ones, but guess we'll find out soon enough.

ahh......... i see, but how does a music (audio CD) give you extra content? Do you have to do a PSX GTA London type of boot up or somat? I reckon (hoping) subsistance will be the difinitive version of MGS3.

It's in the Bonus section of the menu, you select key disc and it lets you insert it into the drive, then asks you to swap the game disc back. Then when you start your game it tells you that new items are available.

I've found the chameleon one most handy for its mega high camo %. I'll try the santa one in 6 days.

Seems to me that the Santa suit had it's % boosted on xmas day? I was getting 70% lying on grass wearing it anyway.

I'm still getting new stuff out of this - trying to infiltrate the Granin lab tonight, I was in danger of my stomach rumbling while hiding in a locker and giving me away so I ate a mushroom I had - only it put me to sleep! Oh well I had nothing to do but wait for the alert to clear anyway

Then again I got spotted by a scientist.. in my hurry to stop him I got out my chloroform hanky and started waving it around, only I somehow managed to knock myself out instead of him! Quality.

I went back through it last night to collect all the camo's facepaint's and just as I went to get the one underwater in the swamp I got mauled by an aligator and died.

Yeah that's my intention as well, I never got all the camo's from the bosses last time through. Plus the ones for completing Duel mode - but having tried the first two special duels I can see that's gonna be one hell of a challenge - if the ocelot unit can be so difficult, what's the End gonna be like??!?

F*&k me, it took me twenty minutes to beat the Pain on special duel - the target time was 6 and a half minutes!

Anyone else tried these? The End fight has to be the very definition of hardcore... you've got no mic, no thermal goggles, he seemingly doesn't fall asleep and he doesn't do his photosynthesis thing. After 50 minutes the only trace I had seen of him was a single footprint that faded the moment I spotted it. After another 25 minutes I was sneaking up on another sniping point and heard his footsteps, then he went bombing past me and I couldn't get any shots off - went chasing after him but his trail faded before I located his next position... 5 minutes later I noticed his spotty head just a few metres from me looking the other direction - a single headshot with a tranquiliser and I'd won it. 80 minutes! Round of applause to anyone managing that in less than 15...

OK - totally demoralised. I finished duel mode and didn't get anything. Seems you HAVE to get the top score on every stage. That means I have to beat the End within the 15 mins. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wow - I can't believe I've waited so long to play this.

Simply awesome so far - I'm finding it quite a challenge though....but bloody funny at the same time. It's the little added extras such as being able to perve on Eva' cleavage or the hilarious intro sequence....Kojima is a genius.

Am looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

Started playing this again last week, playing on my mates 50" new plasma wired up through his like £500 amp too which upscales it all etc, so it looked pretty decent. I then went a tried it on my LCD today through component, looks absolutely GASH!! Does the US version have 480p? Might be slightly better...

Ace game though, cool to play it again.
