w000t! now 11th! Although i died in 3 really stupid places on my last run. I managed to get through the ice cave and was on the elephant when some puke from the top which i thought would not arc the way it did...hit me ! >_<;;; I then couldnt get back on the elephant as i was a zombie, tried to make it outside with all hostages, but damn...didnt make it.

Then i thought, oh well, on to the boss i still have 2 more lives! got him down to the final alien and he finished me off...my last life i got trapped in the corner after escaping the bolts during my invincibility....ARGHHH.... back to it!

/me goes back to dark corner of the room to continue playing.

That zombie keeps on getting me, too. I'm not sure if the puke damages the Elephant Slug or not, so keep panicking and trying to move it out of the way, only to end up getting hit myself. I'm going to have to try just focusing on my own sprite there and not the elephant - it *must* be immune to the puke attacks, because I can't see any way of getting something that size through the gaps that are offered otherwise.

take your time destroy the zombies as they appear on the right then walk on - you can even jump off the elephant and pick up the gems

loads of points

and.......

the elephant is immune to the zombie spit - it just passes thru it - concerate your guns on the upper level and use the fire ball/electrobolt on the guys on the floor

i find it more difficult avoiding the yeti's and their frozen breath

Arghhhh! i finnally got out of the ice caves alive...got to the boss, all hostages and 3 lives! wiped out all but 2! got trapped in the corner again! lost all my hostages!

Then i thought, sod it, go for the level complete, ill get points and try and steam my way as far as i can with 2 lives into level 3...good plan, had i not ****ed up twice and died by the same two aliens! :'(((((((((((((((((((


Although, im 6th now I can clock this game....piece of piss...

Oh ho ho - just got this game this morning (early Christmas present to self). It is truly great. Only really played Metal Slug X on PAL PS before, and the sluggishness (boom boom) of the controls really irritated. I just can't believe how lush the the animations, colours, imagination, humour and so on and on on PS2 MS3 are. Seems relatively rock-ard too.
