Didn't know where to post this, but knew I had to say something having previously expressed a quite vocal disinterest.
Just played the final demo of GT4 - good God, how do they manage it? It's a world away from the hit n' miss of Prologue and, to my sheer disbelief, looks just like those quite remarkable screenshots they released all those months ago. With its evocative locales and pin-sharp, non-aliased graphics, it's completely knocked me for six. It's not as 'technically complex' as the big Xbox racers, but it sure as hell puts a bigger smile on my face.
So, for biding their time and working their uncanny magic, I salute Polyphony Digital. What's more, that photography mode might even make up for the ol' lack-of-damage issue.
