This game is class. I'm loving the system, it's so flexible and the 3 characters play completely differently. I'm still crap at it though, haven't cleared phase 2 yet.

I've just got Chaos Field (DC)and it's great (why did I wait so long ?).

One of those games that gets better the more you play.It?s like taking part in some mad rave or something What with that simply ace music score , and those trippy backgrounds which move and rotate all over the place (Make you feel sick).

Bloody hard too you only get 2 lives and 2 continues
It?s worth getting for the music score alone imo (Music Tracks are superb), and it?s a great shooter when you get used to the battle system. The major letdown is those god awful textures .

I love the track 3 on the Music CD as well. It's f-ing brilliant. When it come to playing electric synthesised keyboards You don?t get any better than those mad Japanese

My copy arrived yesterday, not had a chance to play yet. So what do all the weapons/buttons do? I've played lots of other shooters, so feel free to use some as comparisons

There isnt a TATE mode as its not a TATE game. (like GIGAwing 2, mars matrix etc).

I found the game to be a grower. I was not that impressed at first, but Im really hooked at the moment. Its a nice variation on the std shooter, and the balance and strategies are great.

The music is also superb.

The gamecube version is great much more polished then the raw diamond that the DC rev was.The boxart is also super amazing

Does the Cube version really jerk around as much as the IGN video's seem to show?

The DC version had slowdown (which you can irradicate with an Overclocked DC) but it never jerked around with a funny varying frame rate.
