All this reminds my of the Tony Hawks combo progression through the games.. Starts off small and difficult and then just progresses to insane levels..

Speaking of that I had a similair love affair with SSX Tricky. At first breaking a couple thousand was the norm. Then me any my mate spent weeks refining jump timings and Tricky executions to break a million points per run certain tracks.

When you start REALLY exploring and working on some games the results can be mind blowing... this thread is testament to that

I love that fight! There are so many ways that you can approach it.
You can abuse Revolver, go for parries and Release (last vid) or you can use JR's.
Next up: Vergil1 DMD

Mate, the best way to practice this style is against the bosses. The Vergil fights , Beowulf, Nevan and A&R allow you to get a feel for the different parrying timings. Just practice using RG against a boss one at a time, I usually use mission 18 for this. Practice is all it takes.
Once you've got parrying down, it's time for you to practice JR's.

With all the truly SICK video pwange being posted in this thread it would be awesome if all the linkys could be listed somewhere with a brief explanation above each one for easy viewing purposes. Then if I'm needing to check out some Vergil2 arse kicking I can go straight to it.

Maybe as time goes by and more people get involved in vids there will be a new Forum on NTSC-UK where all this stuff can be viewed. I see that they expire after a while which is a real shame but how cool would that be?

I've started a library of all the vids I have picked up in here... there is oodles of Dantology on my machine and I am gonna look into getting my machine hooked up for it, so can start my own aswell.

Think I can download them onto my new phone I got today so you boys will be happy to know I should be able to showcase your abilites all the time, hehehe.

With G Card I got in my machine I think they only thing I need is the hook up cable from TV to card in. Sounds a bit too easy but am gonna look into it.

I would like to thank all for all the videos that have posted as they have helped me a great deal. Until last night I was unable to beat vergil 3 without using at least one healing item but thanks to the royal guard vids i'm able was not able to beat him without items but able to S rank him as well, so thanks all.

No items, No damage ( Tiny damage allowed ) and a time of under 2 minutes is where you want to be.

If like me you want to get up there with Venom in the under 60 seconds category then Vergil 3 will be your playground for many hours to come, hehe.

Dont have the video stuff totally sussed yet but am gonna get some screenies of speed runs etc fired up need something to back up the claims of silly times on Vergil3.

Venoms vid on it with the time at 59 seconds rattled me right in the ballz, pimpin bas

You can take Vergil home and sit him on your mantlepiece mate, hes yours.

Someone with sick editing skills needs to put all his stuff together into a single music video style vid, it would look mint!

Companies in the UK seriously miss out on good promotional opportunities by ignoring the play element of releases, there's a huge gap where skill DVDs should be.
