Yeah, its dropped a bit for me at the moment. Its around 46kB/sec now so around three and half hours to go, which isn't too bad.

Should be a bit darker by then anyway, so it'll be time to crank up the sound, turn off the lights and away we go... (only to find it cripples my system and turns it into a flaming heap )

Bizarre that they'd hype up thos worldwide release and then not be able to serve it fast enough. I guess the theory is that it's 10am over there, so people will set the thing going, and toddle off to work.

I can only get 15kb/s from Gamespot and the torrent doesnt go at all for me, crumbles along at like 0kb's.

And I'm in queue for fileplanet for the next 90 minutes.

This is ****, my connection maxes at 250kb/s and I can't even manage a 10th of that downloading this game!!!

I love it when a PC demo comes out. The frenzy to find a server which isn't full, then the crushing disappointment when the download limps in at 5k/sec.

I'm waiting in line at FilePlanet and FileShack now. Both with 80 minute waiting times!

Someone needs to work out a better way to distribute these things.
