Trying to cater for 2 pups at the moment. Mine and my GFs. I have a strapping male German Shepherd called Phatz and she has piddly little Chihuaua called Maisy. Honestly Phatz totally towers over Maisy in the house it is hilarious

Been doing well in the disc events with Phatz and just bought the designer condo (First house upgrade). Place is looking pretty smart.

Struggle to find the time for lots of attention for them but great fun when get the chance. Watching Phatz throw smaller dogs about when he is down the park is amazing

Picked up a copy last night and I'm really enjoying it so far. Have a lovely little Golden Retriever named Fooey

Entered the disk competition just now and got 0 points. She doesn't seem to be fast enough to catch the disk before it lands. I guess we need more practice, although its hard because the other dogs at the park keep catching the disk before poor Fooey gets a chance

Any way to prevent that?

I only tend to practice at the park when it is empty otherwise the little fella gets distracted and other dogs get in the way. If the park is busy practising the frisbee catch is void you can practive in the house but your range is greatly reduced.

Spag, The condo aint anything but a visual upgrade and I aint seen anything to suggest otherwise. I suppose its a measure of your success when you can buy the better pads but I dont think they offer anything other than a different background... it does look quite cool though and what you mean not manly... its a true test of your manliness to be able to play and then talk about this game. Am hoping Phatz brings me back a spiked collar from one of his present hunts then he will look rock'ard Phatz strolling round town with a spiked collar would be mantastic, gotta find one!!

Safe, so how do I get to buy stuff for my crib? I wants a piano up in there!

Its quality the precision with which you can throw things around. I can hit my gfriends dog on the head with a tissue box no matter where they are on the screen. That may sound cruel but that bitch needs to be kept in check as she's a tendency to lord it up over my liddle Jeremy Beagle!

Up to Expert Frisbee Contest with Treacle but Jeremy is still too cheeky for the giddy world of dog shows, he'd rather play with the sauce bottle he found.

If you go to the Shop am sure the house upgrades are in there. Either that or it is a seperate selection on the screen befroe you go into the shop. There are about 3 or 4 upgrades you can get, the best costing around $5,000 (My US version playing with my head there).

My Condo has a nice white interior, gorgeous bay window and a nice laminate flooring for the pups to slide about on. There is a lovely bench over in the far corner that looks perfect for a nap but unfortuantely I can seem to walk over to it

I have the ball and have been throwing it about the house a lot recently, they love it. Condo has much more space for them to roam around in. Have tried a couple of times but cant seem to smash the bay window with it... ****er must be double glazed!!

I been trying to bounce the ball off the back wall hard enough so that it would be 'caught' again ready to be thrown in the hope that the dogs would be running backwards and forward after it. Not happened yet though.

Also, dont be afraid to pracy in the house. Your range will be limited but gets them into the routine and allows you to work on the quickest way to get the frisbee back off them once they bring it to you. A lot of the time they dont like giving it up without a fight give them a wee stroke on the nose quickly when they bring it back and they usually let you have it without a fuss. Saves valuable seconds in the comps!!

Destructable scenery should be compulsory. It aint a puppy unless it is destroying some piece of furniture or something.

Mine turned up today! Funny story for anyone that saw my question about Tesco. Ordered it at ?19 (with voucher). Game didn't arrive for 3 weeks. Game disappeared from the website listing. I phoned them, they didn't have a clue if they would get stock soon. They e-mailed a reply to my question saying that I would not be getting the game before christmas and I could cancel if I wish. That was yesterday. Today it turned up! lol

Right I think it's a great little "experience". I got the little buggers name recognised but he seems to have forgotten the sit command already the git! Love the piss animations. All in all very entertaining. I look forward to playing some more.

How long will it take to earn the money? I need ?30 to get her a Yorkie but I haven't bought the frisbee yet. Does it take much training to earn the money? I am half on trying to get the money before she comes round tonight and half on wiping my data and letting her start the game from scratch complete with tutorial.

Anyone know how to scrub the game data?

I think you can only enter contests a couple of time in one day so you best of killing your dog and starting again. I could never do that to Jeremy Beagle though so have no idea what needs to be done. Some sort of injection perhaps?

To wipe the data you hold down the 4 face buttons plus L and R on the Nintendo screen at start up.

Just got this the other day and I`m liking it so far but, it ain`t Mario Kart!


I`m having one or two probs with the voice recognition too, I don`t think Nintendogs is very Mancunian friendly. I`ve noticed that as I was getting more and more pissed up this weekend, the bugger couldn`t understand me at all!!

I had to destroy and take it for the virtual "Dr Shipman`s needle" because one minute it obayed every command and then obayed nowt! In the frisbee contest I just sat there shouting myself hoarse whilst the dog just chewed the frisbee up.

My second dog "Dude" is a bit better behaved and has learned tricks aplenty.
