Maybe they'll also have changed the last part a little...
Really? I've been playing the PAL version and I needed 800 arrowheads to get that thing. Didn't take too long to get 'em once I got that arrow detector though.
I've been playing it a few days now, and it's great - it really does have that old Lucasarts feel to it. I was reminded of Sam & Max and Monkey Island in places. The various mental words and characters look amazing. I love the warped suburban area with the cameras floating about. And the 'road crew' is hilarious. "Look at that woman's breasts. They're large."
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get past these shady looking blokes with hedge clippers....

Oh, crap. Maybe he made a mistake? Or is it different on the PS2 port? Weird.

Sorry guys, I screwed up. My friend wasn't totally sure and said "about 400", so assumed they'd changed the price seeing as 400 is exactly half what it cost on the NTSC version. A shame they couldn't change it though, because I could never get the dousing rod to work no matter how much button-mashing I did.

          I have just

been inside the fish and stomped through the city (lol). Could anyone give me an indication how far through the game I am please? Ta.

I am a bit stuck now...

I am on the Milkman level, and I have just got given a fake rifle to carry around. I now need a plunger to get into the sewers. There are a couple of areas in the level which I cannot access, because I do not have a cobweb hoover (I don't have enough arrow heads). I am guessing the plunger is behind one of the the cobweb sections? Probably the post office otherwise its a room with nothing in!

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

You need the Cobweb duster to do this bit. If you have the dowsing rod you should get enough arrowheads very quickly.

                    Thanks.

Does anyone else find the map and general camp layout really poorly designed? You leave a level to go to the shop, and to get back to the level you have to find your way back to the area with the 3 pod things (1 which is now open) to go into the lab, and then go into the door select mode and choose your level.

If the campsite is night time you are under constant attack by stupid animals breathing fire (why would they be there at a childs campsite?), and I just find it really hard to get around. They could of made it much easier to navigate around the area. For example if some levels have the teleporting worm thingys, why aren't they dotted around the campsite? The underground cart system is great for getting anywhere from the lab, but how about getting back to the lab from the shop?

It's been almost a year since I've played the game but I'm sure the tooting worm thingy's are only in levels that take place in peoples heads? The underground cart system is used in the real world - regarding the journey from the shop back to the lab, have you missed the hollow tree stump just down from the entrance to the shop (head towards the parking lot and it's there somewhere on your left)?

Well, it is in the wilderness

Must of missed that tree trunk. I was probably being attacked by a fire-bear or something

Just beat the Rainbow Lady/Milkman boss. Was an excellent level, easily the best so far. It was weird that if you tried to throw the cookie boxes back at the boss it was quite tough (esp in the 2nd phase) and that seemed the "correct" way to attack her. I just ran up to her in the end and punched her!

I got this about a week ago, but i didn't like it so sold it on. The game wasn't bad, it just didn't click with me. I liked the story but the gameplay wasn't that good. Ah well. Glad to see other people like it

I am completley lost where I need to go now. I have beaten the Milkman level, and now I have to climb a tower. However, I exited the level to go and get something from the shop. Now I am unable to go back into the new level again. There are no new doors open in the lab room, and going backinto Milkman Level just puts in by the house of the final boss..

                            Any ideas anyone?

I've just got the rifle, so I'm just behind you.

At first I wasn't sure of this game, but after an hour or so I really got into the humour and atmopsphere of it all. I get the feeling it's quite a short game, though.

Anyone else find that it's overly dark in some places? When I'm in the campsite at night I have to turn the brightness up on the TV just so I can see where I'm going!

Could some kind soul please help me out before I throw the game in the bin? I am stuck in a theatre and need to get on the catwalks. I have managed to lower the hotair balloon down in Mood mode, but I am unable to get in it. I have then switched to Happy mode, and I still can't get in it.

The game is so frutrating, constantly attacking you when its in Mood mode, what an unnecessary and completley unfair feature to have in this part of the game. It's definetly on the "I want to finish it so I never have to play it again" list.

                                Thanks.

edit - done it, found the swinging poles..
