Well, this is a two year old thread now, but having spent the last four hours or so playing Forza in Career mode from scratch, for practice for when Forza 2 drops through the door, it doesn't feel like this game has aged much at all. Ok, graphically it's not going to blow your socks off, but jumping back into this you realise how spot on the game progression and handling models are.

I remember saying at the time this was a GT beater, and the time spent with it today has done nothing the shrug that off, in fact once I finish here I'm going back to play some more.

Having played the point-to-point races, I think it's a shame these have been dropped from the second game - zooming through the docklands past all the trailers is a fantastic race. I hope that some dlc makes P-2-P maps available in the future.

Seems like the leaderboards might have been reset at some point as there are very few times from my friends list, and mine aren't there at all. TheForce and SilvergunX being the only two I've spotted ( you need to make sure you sign-in manually to upload times, Xbox1 didn't do that unfortunately in Forza 1 ).

yeah, the last few months I've played Forza a few times, just to get the feeling back and to check out the tracks again. After a few minutes of racing the graphics didn't bother me at all, and it's all because it plays so damn good, and playing the demo of Forza2 made me realise I even have better control of the cars in Forza2 with the controller...

yep, those leaderboards you see before every race was/is an excellent idea, you could see before every race what were the top times, that's just how I like it, as soon as I saw some times from peeps on my friendslist I just had to try to beat that time !... excellent stuff !
