Sure,Japanese games heavy on txt in them are a good way to get used to and familiarise with the Kanji,along with the important Hirigana and Katakana,maybe worthwhile getting some Japanese course to go to,say evening classes or something.Just a suggestion for you,i started years ago when the SNES and Megadrive were out,and i have a private Japanese language tutor.

I have 3 books on kanji.1 book is really great gives me a list of 1895 kanji tells me the meaning of the kanji the sound also the history of the symbol (also meanings of any other symbols with in it) and also 3 examples of it with other kanji

unfortunetly at the moment my skills trying to translate is very limited.I
tried to translate some of the options in DMC3(before i chose the english language ) and it went something like this

I've lived in Japan for 8 years, studied the language and Japanese history, got all my proficiency test certificates and now work in game translation/localisation.

Even if you're not referring to me, saying things like that is not very nice.

Been playing this all day yesterday and I love it!
One thing I forgot to mention is the anime cut scenes and the CG used. Kinda like Killer 7 where you'll get a mix of the 2 between stages. Very nice!

I've got mine sitting here - cant wait to get home and try it! I bet there's extra facets and tricks to the fighting for me to try and discover, this is Capcom - I KNOW there's 'ologies in this game!

Got this game had a quick play lunch time.Seems good but early impressions i feel its a bit to similar to dynasty warriors.

Are there different combos possible with the square button ?
