You've been so busy you can't watch a trailer... ?

Well it looks very similar to the original, although with all new stories set outside Japan (and in the US by the looks of it).

Time will tell if it will measure up to the original, but the way I see it, as long as the soundtrack holds up, then what could possibly go wrong?

TBH I didn't even know about the trailer - time is limited to playing games and occaisionally talking about them on here (I have a full-time job, a wife and two kids ), very little is spent viewing upcoming stuff.
I'm sure EBA could be great, don't get me wrong, I'll be first in line if it holds up. I was simply saying that *this* version isn't going to get released in the West, so people should pick it up...

Okay, watched it now, and although it looks good (it's Ouendan), the art design doesn't look as good, and the main characters look like the Blues Brothers. Still, as long as the music is good, it'll be worth playing. Just won't be quite so cool and plain mad as the Japanese version.

I completed Ready Steady Go! on Normal Mode today. God this game is good - it's easily the most fun I've had gaming-wise for ages. The sense of achievement was huge and its got-to-have-just-one-more-go addictiveness is unbelievable.

Honestly if you own a DS and you've not played this you're missing out big-style. It's worth owning the DS just for this game. Awesome.
Now, Ready Steady Go! on Hard Mode...

Don't mean to take the piss but don't ya think ya come to this party a touch late?
            Glad ya love it!
You will love it even more when you gain the sense of achievement beating the game on Cheerleader mode though!

Yeah, I know I\'m late to this one, but in my defense I only got a DS two months ago.

Plus, I think it\'s still worth shouting about this title - it\'s so much fun - TBH I\'d gotten pretty bored of console gaming, so having picked up a PSP and DS I\'m delighted to be having more fun playing stuff like Ouendan than I can remember in a long time.

im late to this too just got it in a trade on this board, and it nearley made me smile as much as parapper did the first time i played that, nice to play a game thats this quirky, i wouldent say its super fresh though as its just a diffrent take on the rhythm action style of games, nothing i havent seen before but its still great fun to play, really enjoying it.

Aint nowt wrong with comin to the party late, some of the best games ive played are the ones i got after everyone had finished with them! Some gems are best played when the hype has died down, and Ouenden is a great example, besides it aint that old if it has yet to see a world wide release lol!

Phillai is right though, cheerleader mode is like a level for the gods!

Got to play Elite Beat Agents at Comicon, it's still the same great gameplay, and the two stories on offer are just as wacky, bizarre and funny as anything in the Japanese version. I think it's in good hands

Western of course... but rocking tracks, I recognised one of them, though I can't recall what it was. Maybe it will come to me...

God I'm even later, I didn't even know what this game was, I saw the title being talked about but I thought it was some strategy war game or something

But now it sounds excellent and I want it!

Glad to hear it's looking good - I was a little concerned a couple of pages back, but having read an interview with the producer of Ouendan, who seems to be directly involved with EBA and seen some more screenshots, it's looking good and certainly hasn't been too Westernised
