I'll tell you what's buggering my perfect right now, It's bloody angel valley crash junction #37, Silly Cone Valley, in Rank 8. I can do it's second iteration on level 10, but because this one forces you to use a certain car, I can't get in on top of the bridge, even with a perfect start, It's sooo annoying!
Edit: All fixed now, I had got to level 10 without realising that you can pull back in a jump to gain height like a plane! DOH! I thought the controls were the same as when you are skidding, post crash, but I guess not!Last edited by Briareos; 09-10-2005, 23:26.

If your having trouble, once you get to Elite rank go back and look at what you need to achieve in the challenge sheet for each location.
Aim to unlock the Nixon special car (its the wee midnight black old style F1 car), I believe it gets unlocked by completing the challenge sheet for Eastern Bay or something like that...
Once you have that car you should have no trouble competing in races and elimination events... its only flaw is its so damn light Road Rage events are harder as you'll get knocked all over the shop.
I've got 100% and I used this car all the way once it was unlocked and only had to repeat some races a few times when you really have a run of bad luck.

For straight out races I use the Criterion Racer, from one of the challenge sheets, for Road rages I use the Elite Racer, just because it's so damn heavy, most of the oppenents seem to wipe out after they take a swipe at you!
I use the little Nixon for the Traffic attacks, just beacuse it's so maneuverable it can get you out from behind a lorry that you would normally end up striking in almost any other car...

Would you say that Burnout is an easy enough game to pick up? I've heard fairly positive reviews about it, and I thought about picking myself up a copy. I don't really have much time for getting to grips with a detailed control system though, so if it's more Gran Turismo than Outrun, I'd probably have to pass.
