Siding with ET on this one. Viewed in isolation, On Tour is a decent game but when compared to it's illustrious heritage it falls way short.
Personally, I feel SSX3 was the peak of the series. At first I thought SSX3 lacked the tight focus of Tricky and tried offering too much but found once I got accustomed to it, it was clearly a superior game.
What bugs me is that I can't quite pick out what is wrong with On Tour. It just doesn't seem to click.
Soundtrack is pretty poor (again SSX3 was the peak in this area with a truly incredible lineup of music), the shift in focus from the enigmatic characters to a users own creation was also a bad move. Perhaps it si also the same again factor that irks. SSX is one of few EA franchises that escapes the yearly update treatment as evidenced by the leap from Tricky to 3. This feels like a worse SS3 with skis
