Got a good blast of this over Xmas whilst at my folks - the multiplayer is just tremendous - couldn't believe they keep up the level of traffic like that I expected a barren city - Only played 1v1 but it was bloody tremendous - As segages says above the prospect of 6 player is amazing.
And I made it to Staunton Island - Took a fair bit of work.

Got this for Xmas and I have to say I'm really impressed - it feels soooo good being back in Liberty City
Everything from the layout to the radio channels and DJ's is all so familiar and at the same time tinged with new bits, that it'd be hard not to warm to it. Those tyre spikes are a bastard tho - wonky driving ahoy!
For some reason, just like the original, I'm finding the ad's, DJ's and the overall humour a lot funnier than in San Andreas and Vice City. I got some funny looks in work yesterday when I started laughing at the Radio Del Mundo DJ when he began going on about his humus going off

After completing NSMB on the DS I was at a loss for a new portable game to play because nothing else in the DS catalogue interested me after completing that game so I thought I would dust off the PSP and give LCS a try and ignoring it for a few months because of the blurring issues on the PSP's screen and the very tinny audio. It is actually a lot better than I thought it would be after getting used to the nub for driving I can now really throw the cars around with a real sense of control which I never had when I first played it. The humour has started to appear and while the writing isn't as good as Vice City it still raises a wry smile during the cut scenes. I've got the PS2 version on order because this game really deserves a bigger screen but I am looking forward to putting a lot of time into the PSP version until it is released.

I've just picked this up again after a long hiatus (6 months according to the date on my last save), slowly getting back into it. I'm currently doing Tony's mothers missions which have been a hoot so far. Don't know what made me stop playing it, must have bought something significant at the time and just forgot about it.

Picked up the PS2 version from HMV yesterday (?9.99 when you spend ?20+).
Same as the PSP version but better control with the dualshock. Looks a bit rough after being used to the Xbox versions of GTA but is still a great game and I quite like the short missions.
No 60Hz but has widescreen support
