I've just beaten 8-5 but it's not letting me select 8-6 from the map, it's just blacked out. Do I need an item from the shop or all the Toads perhaps? Bit strange to get stuck right at the end.
find all the toads
Once the game is completed, theres 24 more new levels to do (^_^)

All the Toads in the game, or just in world 8?
Bit gutted to be so close yet so far.

Just got the US version of this the other day and I wasn't expecting much from it. But.. its a really great game. Ok, its a bit simple and pretty hard to die and all that but its a classic nintendo platformer. I'm surprised people aren't talking about it that much now its had a US release. The graphics are GBA quality and the touch screen support is a bit negligible but if you're looking for a decent platformer after Castlevania and Sonic I recommend giving this one a go.

I've been playing Princess Peach for a few days now (US ver) and it's a lot of fun. Swap Peach for Mario and you could be playing Super MarioWorld. There are a ton of familiar characters and tunes and it's slickly put together. Graphics are a little average but the game shines through.
Another great DS game for me.

My copy's still not shipped, but I'm hoping it does tomorrow. Can't wait for some good, old fashioned Nintendo platforming! It might mean that my DS has something other than Ouendan/Animal Crossing in, too.

Sounds like it'll tide me along nicely till we get the new Mario.

Another great DS game for me.I thought they gave it a 9, but now I just looked, and you're right.
A 6 is a crime against videogaming. What the hell is the reviewer on? The actual review was positive and made me eager to buy the game, but insulting such a great game with a 6 is beyond reason!
Games magazines are generally run by either crazy or evil people!

Dropped through my door early this morning. Yes it is very Mario 2, the production values are very high with the best sprites I have seen in a 2D nintendo game, the princess' powers are quite cool and can help you fly or water plants to make them grow, the use of the umbrella is like on do doko don so it's quite good fun and a little different from the usual mario games. Perhaps a bit slower paced.
You can upgrade the umbrella to make you hover a bit or pack a bigger punch so there's lots of interesting variables.
Congrats to movietyme for getting it to me so quickly, again like meteos which I ordered it had UK stamps on it so I guess there was no chance of customs, also it arrived in about 2 days!! A bargain!
I am looking forward to playing this one the whole way through!
Do I have to collect all the toads per level? Or is it just the last levels to unlock the end levels??? I already missed a few on the early stages, if I have to go back I might as well do it now!!
