The AI is notoriously unfair, that's true. But seriously, the entire game is about learning how to counter. You WILL get juggled and combo'd about like mad, but learn how to counter what and you'll be laughing.

When you get to playing online though, you can really, really abuse people's failed counters. Performing a throw on a failed counter results in 150% damage, so feign a combo by just quickly jabbing them, watch them completely miss a counter, then quickly grab them for MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!111

Sorry! I've only just got around to playing this after getting it cheap off a chum.

Oh my word, what a cheap-ass game! It feels like every level is an end-of-game boss. The AI will do an 8-hit combo, wait until I get up then hit me with another combo. They counter everything I throw at them, but none of my counters or throws work!

This game is making me swear and I'm close to throwing my pad at the injustice of it all!

I'm still battling through with about 6 characters left to play through as and I unlocked 5 hrs play last night, but I'm seriously doing something wrong...

I'm pretty good at Tekken, but this is royally handing me my arse every time I play it. May have to go online and see if somebody will give me some pointers without crushing me!

The end of game boss (liquid woman, can't remember her name) is the most infuriating boss I have EVER encountered in a beat 'em up. You can have one hit to perfect her, and suddenly she will do that stupid knock you to the floor and beat seven shades of **** hold on you. I'm normally a calm gamer, but this game makes me want to smash my pad off the wall.

Been re-reading this thread and other have also got annoyed at her crazy headlock-power-drain-ultra-nuggies!

It's not just her though, it's as if the computer knows what move you're about to do from your button presses and instantly counters it! All the 360 power isn't being used on the pretty dinosaurs etc, it's ultra-fast responses to your attacks!

Mind you, some characters are easier to play with than others and you can go through nearly unbeaten.

I played this through to see all the endings and then got rid of it.

It might just be me (I admit to be no good) but there seemed to be something generally screwy with the AI and I don't just mean the boss. As if it's decided beforehand that you will have your ass handed to you during a particular bout.

I love Tekken and I'm pretty tasty, even if I say so myself but I've been totally humbled by this game.

Don't get me wrong, it's pointless if it's easy button mashing to win, but sometimes it pointless to get back up and pointless to stay down!

I wouldn't mind if my countering and throwing efforts were rewarded with something other than PAIN...

I've still got mine bitches. The AI is crap - you can't really get into the game till you're playing a mix of people online though these days I'd imagine it's SS club-ahoy !!!

That's kinda part of the problem - I'm scared to go online now because I'm guessing the only people playing it are Japanese people who know every move, counter and throw!
