    LMAO I CAUGHT A STRINGFISH!

Do I sell that, or do I trade it in to win the fishing competition?

Sod it, I want this trophy.

They are worth 15k, you usually can win the contest with a sea bass. Jay dont close Bapyton! You were a great animal crosser! Keep trying! Maybe its only temporary.

I'll catch another one sometime, i'm not fussed about the money right now.

Though Kody caught a Red Snapper at 41 inches.

I`ve just had the same dilema, I handed it over to the mayor

The fish was 67.3 inches...... will that be enough??

This time of year tuna are the biggest fish you can catch. Keep fishing in sea you'll get one eventually. They are a bit bigger than Sea Bass and take a little longer to reel in, not that it matters at that point. I just had a 47inch Sea Bass but Lobo went and caught an 82inch tuna, think it was 82. I won the last competition with a 92inch Tuna.

Hard call handing in 7k fish when I still have a mortgage to pay lol.

This is gonna sound stupid but have you tried placing your DS in the 'EXACT' same position as when you've been able to connect before?

Visiting my girlfiends folks I found that I had to have my DS held in a certain position and even then in a specific room, till I got a connection! Very odd but if I didn't, no connnection.

I've caught my first tuna today and I got 2 of em too! I waiting till nearer 6 till I take them to tortimor. The trick I think is that big fish are more easily scared off. So when you're searching you have to walk slowly, boring but then hey I suppose it's nearer real life!

THe longest sea bass I`ve ever caught was 3.25 feet, so if you catch a ****ty sea bass it`s worth letting the mayor have a look.

I`ve just had a tuna sniffing at my hook but I didn`t strike quick enough..... bastard!!

Yep. It doesn't seem to be that the DS isn't finding it or that it's a bad connection. It tests successfully every time. But I think something has happened to the wireless settings or something that stops it getting further than my computer. Or that's my guess anyway. The internet sharing is the same as it always was and has worked since I got Mario Kart up and running. Something has changed though and I really can't work out what it is. It has to be a PC thing.

jay if your on xp could you not do a system restore to a point in time where you know it's gonna work ?

I have done that and it's worked a few times, also i have to switch off my windows firewall

Is it just ACWW that doesn`t work or are you having probs with MKDS too??

My set up was all spot on until teh other day and I couldn`t connect to WFC at all. I went into start, run, typed "msconfig" and went to start up. THere were some new processes in there that come on at PC start up so I stopped em, since then connection has been fine.

I know this may not solve it but it is an idea, there are millions of things that it could probably be, PC`s are a pain in the arse!

If that doesn`t work maybe a router would be the answer.

That's a good suggestion, Wicky, but I have tried it. I'll try going to an even earlier point if I get nothing else.

VonManc, what you're saying sounds interesting. I just tried Mario Kart and I'm getting errors with that too. In that msconfig, is there a way for me to know if a process is new?

Sorry, I know I said new but I meant unfamiliar. If there is anything iffy in there that you don`t recognise, stop it from starting when booting up.

Don`t worry if you close one and summat legit stops working, if that happens just do the msconfig process again and re-enable the halted process. Trail and error is what I`m trying to say I think. Give it a go you`ve nowt to lose!

                              Good luck! 8)

Thanks, I'll give it a go! Any danger that I could turn off something that will stop me getting back into my system?
