I hope they are compatible but seeing as everyone I know with a DS already has the US version I think there'll be little point in getting the UK especially with all the time I've invested into it already. It's nice bui;ding up from nothing and all that but I've still got loads to do on this. Hitting 999,999,999 in bank might be a good end point though lol. Hoping to pass 200,000 on HRA this weekend.

Half my town is how I want it tree wise, sill playing about wih flower arrangements lol. I'll get round to the other bit on my own time. There's no rush. That's the best thing about AC you get the most from it playing how you want to and there's very litle pressure. That is unless you have a few million invested in turnips and it's a Saturday!

Plan this Sunday is to keep buying turnips as long as I have space in my town or until I have to start work, I'll be setting the alarm...

I'm making a discovery about hybrid flowers. This could well be common knowledge but I'm only figuring it out myself now. When there is a single-line vertical row of flowers, the hybrid will always pop up to the left of that row. I have never managed to get a hybrid from a horizontal grouping. So, I reckon you'll maximise your chances of hybrids by placing them in single line vertical rows making sure that the row next to them is empty. At least, that's the way it seems to be happening in Bapyton.

I`ve had hybrids more often than not just from this grouping below. The X`s are flowers and the O is a tree. I planted 3 white tulips in this fashion for example and got purple tulips. *edit - the lower X should be directly under the O so the 3 flowers are in a V shape.

On the subject of hybrids, how do you get black roses? I`ve read that it is just a case of planting red roses together but this hasn`t worked for me.

I've only ever managed to grow one black rose and it was definitely a red by red cross.

I'm gonna try Nero's method for the moment because before i was already trying Jay's, i used to have the same type flower popping up to the left, no hybrids though.
