Been away from the 360 for two days and I am really missing this game in particular, online career mode is fantastic, I want to finish this one properly

Man, the motion blur effect in this game is awesome.
The jaggies though.... Jesus, they totally spoil the look of the game for me. You can instantly tell it's not true 720p.

Ive completed the game on Silver - Now doing it all on Platinum, the races are a challenge but the cone challenges are just ****ing insane!! Any tips?!Comment

How come the tiniest little knock sends you spinning? Totally ruined online play. Can't do rubbing anymore.
Also it totally misses the slower cars. Hell, the Honda S2000 wasn't slow in PGR2 and that was the second class. Had some epic races with that. Not in this game, everything has to go so fast to ruin close competitive racing (apart from the odd circumstance).
Stupid things as well, why is the Lobby for Friends invite only? And why can't you have a mixture of friends and public slots, and change that on the fly? A 2 year old prequal by the same team did. Madness.
And why no Leaderboards for each car, or even each class on each car? Why the HELL can't we see laptimes and how far we were from each position at the end of the race? That's core stuff for a racing game.
I did quite enjoy single player (although far too cone challenges and too many Time Vs Kudos ****s) and it's FAR too easy, but online it's a trying experience for a number of reasons, and some incredible oversights. It feels to me they a) targetted to a far more general audience who just want to go as fast as possible and not worry about corners, racing etc, and b) seriously rushed it in time for launch.
As soon as/if PGR2 makes the backwards compatible list I don't think I'll touch this again.Comment

I'm having a great time in online mode. I play with the JP1 all the time and I fairly consistently beat folks in their F50s on the hard tracks because they can't control them particularly well.Comment

. Actually I've not been online with that yet as I've found the single player a bit offputting.
Good games though. I'd not played the team races before - puts a cool twist on it.Comment
