I meant to - I bought this on release day and all ... but err ~ lazy ...

Anyway, the LE was sold out in Yongsan by the time I got there - but on the whole It didn't really look like it was worth the 68,000 price-tag when the game itself was only 37,000 (and that was with a full-size poster too) ... the main draw would have been the OST CDs, but there's a full OST mode in the game itself which would make them redundant anyway.

There seems to be 58 songs available, btw.

Great game though. Absolutely beautiful presentation - but maybe a little too hard for my liking. The guy at the place I bought it from demoed the song 'Red' for me and cleared it perfectly on 8 button mode without as much as a furrowed brow - Korean dexterity never ceases to amaze me ~

I 'need more practice' apparently ...

I really want to have this game. Is there anyone trustworthy here who is living in Asia or USA who is willing to buy it for me from Play Asia and then ship it to me, all expenses paid ofcourse (in advance even). If it gets pinged by custums I'll take care of that aswell ofcourse. I just really want to have the ltd. edition of this game!

I'm not normally into these sort of games but this one has me interested. And that special edition does look pretty special. Although a closer look makes me wonder if it's worth it. Then again, it's not like you can take the songs off the PSP to play in the car etc without the soundtrack CDs. I suppose it depends on how much they sell for seperately. So little money, still so many games worth getting.

admittedly only playing it for 45mins or so, but frankly, i'm crap at this kind of game

its obvious from the offset that the production values are high, the opening movie and the presentaion of all the menus are absolutely lovely.

i managed to do a few of the very easiest songs, but then it makes me pick a harder one next which is screwing me up a bit. its very nice though, but i'm going to need a lot more practice.

Yesterday I finally received my Prestige Collector's Box. Had some time with the game today and I'm impressed (& dissappointed) and addicted (& annoyed).

Impressed: as mentioned before the production values are extremely high. Some of the sounds in the earlier songs remind me a bit of the sounds used in the ps2 game Technic Beat. Cute and very sugary sweet sounding sounds used in cute K-pop.
Everything looks super smooth and nice. This also where my dissappointment stems from... Most of the background video's visuals are squashed because they've been stretched up for 16:9. I find it such a pity that they went through the trouble of making nice little video's only to have them hideously raped by stretching.

Another point that disappoints me is that the volume fluctuation from the intro to the ingame music. It really isn't all that much work of leveling out the perceived volume levels but sadly, like in most rhythm games, this important part of finalizing the product has been overlooked by Pentavision as well.

I am addicted to the game already. It feels very nice to play and the difficulty level is very high! This both a strenght and a weakness. It seems that you can not choose the stage/song you want to play but have to play the stages in order that they are on the "ingame-disc".

This weakness annoys the hell out of me since I can play the first few stages just fine. But the later stage are difficult. But when I tried to practice them I had to play through the earlier stages (which the game told me I had clear already) before I could play & practice the stage/song I wanted to. If this is an inherent property of the game it's a terrible flaw. Because it eliminates the short bursts of play that the concept of this game seems so fitting for. Anyone an idea on how to select for example stage 3 of disc 1 in 4b-mode? Without having to play through stage 1 & 2.

I really want to like the game and I think that I actually do. It has interesting music, pretty steep difficulty level but that only feels more and more rewarding once you progresses through it. Playing the game makes me want to create my own music again.

I do hope that some can tell me how to select a stage rather having to play through all of the stages before I get to the stage I want to play/practice. But regardless it does seem like a very worth while purchase. I haven't actually looked at the other content of the PCB because I was so looking forward to playing the game.

For those who are still considering to pick up this title. If you're into music/rhythm games and are (pretty) good at them then it's a worth while purchase. If you're not so good at it then you better practice with someother games like Guitar Hero, for example. I'm going to continue playing again.

i think you can select certain songs in the free mode,
but the problem i had with this is that it still wont let you just practice them all the way through.
you still get the game over message extemely quickly if your not on the ball. if theres any way to go through a song totally no matter how rubbish you are i havent noticed it.

Tried button-mashing? You won't get much accuracy this way, but at least you will finish the song. Also try speed 2x or 2.5x - you will be surprised. The point to get through more difficult songs is simply not to think about the falling tiles, let your reflexes take control. And because at 2x the normal speed the tiles are not so packed it's not such a strain for your eye/hand co-ordination.

I got a question for ya all with Prestige Edition - can anyone upload OST somewhere? Or only "Outlaw"? I'm in love with this beat.

                      Got this today.

                      Wow.

I'm struggling so much trying to do 4 key Hamsin, but i've almost cracked it!

Is there an OST 'available' for this? I'm really, REALLY after a few tracks.

Please tell me i'm not the only person having problems with doing two things at once!

I'm struggling really, really badly trying to do the last section of Minimal Life, 4 key. Off-beat on the left hand and trying to time those 3 long presses on the right hand. Just does it out of me!!

Edit: Nevermind, concentrated on the left hand on that bit and it all just flowed from then on, but I still can't finish it!

I desperately need a track ID.

the Club DJing mode - When you highlight 'Club Shake' - Is that track on the OST? And if so, what name is it? I have to have it!

The OST is only available with the premium edition as far as I can tell, although if anyone knows differently and where to get a copy of the OST on its own I'd be really grateful. Had this game since release and still play it on and off just to listen to the tracks.

Only 4 button mode mind as I'm pretty appalling at 6 and 8 Still love this game to bits though

I'd love to be able to pop Enemy Storm, Outlaw and Blythe on my mp3 player.
