I'm still playing this pretty solidly. I'm at around 35 hours, I think, with my characters at about level 55. Did what seems to be a bonus dungeon on the train this morning and got a new Craymel from it. I've been levelling up a bit before fighting
as I got my arse kicked the first time I tried.

It's a really great game and, unfortunately, shows up just how by-the-number the new Tales of Legendia on PS2 is. I've barely touched Legendia since getting Eternia.

I see Tales of Phantasia has just come out on GBA in the US (nearly three years after the Japanese release). Might have to pick that up once I've finished the PSP version.

ive been playing it for a bit, im level 40 just before going to celestia. has anyone noticed the numerous bugs in this game, one of them for example when you summon efreet sometimes his animation will change to aload of battery logos. oh and another i noticed was when you defeat slyph or efreet that one of their text boxes his name on it is in kanji.

Yes, seems to be a bit of dodginess during the localization. I've seen a couple of other characters have Japanese names during conversations. That annoying battery icon wasn't there on the Japanese version, so presumbly Ubisoft added it for some reason without properly testing to make sure it didn't mess anything up.

I noticed the efreet summon glitch too, but didn't notice any Kanji in text boxes.

Just found out the location of the baddy (I think) but need to do some of the sidequests before I go and kick arse. Almost Level 50 now and can freely travel bewtween both worlds

Are you at the point in the story where you need to go to Regulus Knoll? I don't think you can get in before then. I don't remember having to do anything special to get in, once I'd been told to go there.

Any idea how much further the end of the game is?

I've just got the electric craymel.

you have about 5-6 hrs left. i cant remember how long it took me to finish, but theres ton a sidequests to help propel your levels before the final fight. theres even more crap bugs towards the end aswell, alot of spoken dialouge at the beginning of the game is used again on completly different characters towards the end of the game, including the craymels.

I've got a bit stuck at some horrible block sliding puzzle (am I supposed to be pushing all the blocks into the hole, or something else?). I'm guessing I'm near the end now, though?

you are quite close to the end now. Start with the top right block and get that in the hole first, then the middle block and finnally the top left block.
