They've rushed the **** out of it - it's totally apparent.

All that money, yet it takes them 6 months to remove a swing-bar, add 10 crash junctions, and add a new paint scheme to one of the cars. "Rushed". LOL, do these people work from bed?

"rushed" or not........... I do get a huge RUSH playing the freakin game !! excellent fun

Absolutely; the noise that my subwoofer makes whenever I crash (which happens a lot...) shakes my house!

And that revving noise on the title screen? Best. Sound. Ever.

Edit: And the "woosh" from weaving in and out of pillars!

yep, this game has even better sound then many movies I have ! racing through heavy traffic sounds also absolutely fantastic, hearing left and right "whooosh, whoosh, whoosh" when racing past the other cars.
And indeed it makes great use of the subwoofer !

Oh yeah, the game is still excellent. I was expecting more 209 MPH cars than the original version though.

I never played Revenge on the xbox, I decided back then to wait for the 360 version, so I can't compare it, which is in my case maybe a good thing.

I need to finish the game quick so I can go on some full time online racing with this one.

Me too - nowhere near to clocking it but the single player has lost it's impetus already - still I'll hold onto it for now for online laffs.

I've had this on rental for a few days now and put into it just over 12 hours of play.

Only unlocked 65 points worth of achievements so far and gotten about 40 gold medals - sure there are boring races and objectives that need to be completed but in all it's just Burnout 3 with a bit more spice added.

I completed 99% of Burnout 3 on the Xbox - that took me about 50 hours and I'm figuring the same can be achieved with this version since I'm about 25% complete.

Must say I'm rather impressed with how Hong Kong is portrayed in this game with instantly recognisable landmarks (well to me at least).

Online is great fun but it seems not a lot of people from my friends list play it which is a shame Oh and the OXM360's review about no slowdown? Rubbish. There are parts of the game where slowdown is rather noticeable.

This will have to be returned in a day or two's time since my free trial expires - no doubt I'll pick it up at a later date but with Tomb Raider and Oblivion coming my way it'll have to wait a while.

Have you guys noticed that if one player in the room has lots of cars, anyone can choose them? Seems a bit unfair if you ask me. I went into a room tonight and suddenly anyone could select to race in the Revenge race car which I earned by getting 100% completion. I worked hard for that award, I don't want to see every ****er driving one of those badboys
