Neko I think I know where you mean, I did it a 'cheat way' jump and fire the imperial, hard to get right but good enough.
    Hope that helps.

Didn't think this was going to be me but I've been playing First Hunt and really liking it. It could be because it's the only game I have to play on the DS at the moment but I keep going back to those same 3 levels to play again.

How does the online play work? Do you get many cases of just standing in front of each other and shooting or is it like a good game of hide and seek?

Been hammering this like mad over the last few days, really didn't like it at first but really started to enjoy it about half way through.

        Just opened

        Oubliette

so my guess is i'm at the end. In true Metroid style i should have enough firepower to wipe out a planet, feel like i've missed loads though. Can anyone tell me what 100% is? So far i have 95 missiles, 400 ammo for the weapons which i guess is all i'm going to get and 6 energy tanks. Seems like i'll get snotted if i face the next boss.

Thought I'd bump this thread up again since I really want to get the single player beat and I'm completely stuck!

What I'd like to know is WHY when I kill a hunter I don't get their weapon? I've got a few now but its been so long since I played the game that I've forgotten if you get them when you kill a hunter?

My trouble is I think I need spires fire gun thing but each time I goto the plaent with him on and kick his arse, he just vanishes?

Can anyone enlighten me as to how I get his gun?

Plus whats all this stuff with hunters reappearing when you've already killed them!?

As far as I remember you can only get the weapons at predetermined points, like pick-ups at the end of the planet levels. You don't get them from the actual hunters. You probably need to work your way through a certain level.

And, yeah, they just keep on respawning. Forever.

Massive bump for this! Finally, finally completed it, huzzah! Been going through my old uncompleted ds games in preparation for my 3ds and this one was really bugging me.

Anyway I have to say after completing it it's clear a lot of time was spent on it. I really hope Retro or Nintendo are working on one for the 3ds, it should be awesome. I think being able to bring up the notepad ability on the 3ds (at any time) will improve this type of game massively. I always always get lost if I don't play these types of games for a short while.
