There is a definate feeling of Deja vu here.
Playing this last night suddenly teleported me back to the very first day Live started using a demo disk for MotoGP.

I think the graphics look very nice but like other games I think this is lagely due to the fact that I'm playing this in HD on a 50" plasma as opposed to a huge technological leap in graphics (although it's fait to say there is a bit of that as well).

Whats amazing is that once you get over the wow of the replay visuals this game is basically identical from the first in terms of the intense concentration needed to play it and quite honestly there simply isn't time to look at anything other than the racing line for the next corner.

I spent many, many hours on the MotoGP and then MotoGP2 on live and loved every minute of the gameplay and the live experience,it's also unlike any other live game in that you can suddenly go from being lonely on the track to suddenly involved in an 8 bike pile up on the first corner!!

My only complaint on the live was that the Voice interaction seemed messed up,ie in some lobby's I could only talk and then hear the host yet he told me everyone else could here me,in game it seemed impossible to talk to anyone....I loved the first one where you could talk to the rider in front and behind but no one else.

I'm going to buy this on June 30th and hope they sort out the few issues present in the Demo, even with them though it's one to get

I really hope they include a Live GP where you can set up a room then lock it and go through each race in season order and it scores everyone as it would in the real world with Leaderboards...roll on the NTSC GP Season

      Love it - superb.

And what a hoot with a load of you on live - We should try and get 16 forumites together for a night of racing - would be superb.

The online mode is superb, never played any of the xbox moto gp games just the Namco PS2 versions, handles very different to those games.

          rock hard but very enjoyable

I just booted it up, blurry textures and jaggy as 'eck.
            Not even HD saves it

A good test for a racing game, to see if things are modelled well is accelerating down the straight at Donnington under the dunlop bridge, if you've ever ridden the circuit you'll know that there's a very slight bump there, and it makes the front lift - if that happens in a bike game, you know that they've been paying attention
Shame then Climax go to all that trouble. Yet anytime you or the AI Bike Rider crashes You Magically appear on the bike, not matter how fast or hard the crash

I'm not really sure what you mean by "Single climax magical appear"

You mean that when you crash you are put back on the bike? I wouldn't find it very much fun if everytime you hit a wall or rider you couldn't continue (which in reality is what would happen).

As I said, I'd prefer to be put back on the track - any prangs on a bike, even minor ones innevitably end up with an unridable bike - not fun.

Not impressed with this, looks like ass, controls like ass, not V-sync juddering framerate on a 360 game AGAIN!

only mildy better than the terrible Testdrive demo.

I do really aprieciate all these demos from Microsoft. Means there are two more game i can strike of my interest list.

                        Lost Planet however

The controls are spot on - if you take the time to learn how the physics work. Didn't see any framerate issues at all, bit of occassional tearing. It's that magical 360 of mine with the overclocked GPU and CPU

Edit: My machine is running on 720p.

I'm enjoying it& ownd everyone last night, won every game! The Frame rate, does really slow down when 8 people are playing & it's really bad on the extreme circuit. Big fan of Moto GP on XBL, not conviced I'll buy it. Need to read some reviews.
