Yes you can, just like most other games you create a game with private slots only and invite away

create a "player" match rather then a "ranked" match to invite friends.

i figured it'd be to do with that player/ranked match choice. i hadn't actually tried it cos none of my online mates play it

I think the CPU starts out really hard until you get your head round the game. I was getting punished when I first got the game, especially by Jesper ... but then I started winning, and won a few of the tournaments ... then left the game for a week or so ... and now I'm crap at it again. Once I 100% COD2, I'm gonna get back into this one.

yeah i only had it yesterday. i think the game balances out to whoever you picked, you picked liu ping to fight yesper right? well so did i, in the end i gave up on that and tried out yesper. i got further with him and now im on the final on medium against juergen. he hits everything, hes a nightmare.

Who would you say is better? Mark or Jesper

Seeing as nearly everyone uses Jesper online and I don't like to go with the norm (if you can't beat em join em) so I was thinking Mark seems to have similar attributes to Jesper.

YYYEEEESSS!! I finally beat an online Jesper player with Lui Ping.

When I first got this game, I was winning more than losing online. I gave it a rest for a few weeks while I cleared COD2, and now, predictably, everyone online is WAY better than me.

Absolutely gutted! I finally ran into some people online who were almost as bad as I am, and managed to rack up a 4 game winning streak including one shutout ... then lost 11-9 on the fifth, so it's back to square one for that achievement. Wah!

I not saying it is a bad game, I'm sure a lot of people are having a lot of fun. I just get so unbelievable fustrated and angry playing it. Oddly I can spend hours on Ridge repeating the same circuit and not raise a sweat, but with this even the neighbours must of learned a couple of new swear words.

I'm actually quite surprised they haven't called the police.

Absolutely - the reason I traded it. This game just made me angry. It's good. Really good. I can see that. I just found myself thinking "I'm not enjoying this".

I'm sure we'll read about the first Table Tennis anger killing in the Daily Mail before long.
