Annoyed that I can't get online. I was really looking forward to playing this online before work tomorrow, but it looks like it's a no go. Oh well!

Been trying all day and couldn't log on once. Had enough of single player now. This is getting sold if they don't sort the online out next week. Really shoddy stuff.

Well, it's the fated patch day, doubt I'll be able to get on when I get home from work tonight.

Finally finished the heavy gunner missions last night, and replayed a few others so I'm about half S rank and half A rank, the pin finally dropped, ignore whatever the mission orders are, just go in guns blazing (in whatever hound you're most comfortable with)

I finally got logged on at about 1 am. Managed to do one solo online mission and then tried to get into a free battle. First attempt booted me from the lobby, second attempt resulted in a full system lock-up and I had to turn the console off. Can?t say I?m too confident that this will get sorted tomorrow as it?s also the US launch so the servers could get even more crowded if they don?t get the limit issue resolved pronto. Then again if the US gamers have problems it?s likely to be all over the gaming news sites/blogs within a day.

This has royalled pissed me off - I'll try it when i get home tonight - If I don't get on or it's ropey it's going back to GAME for Prey.

The single player has well overstayed its welcome.

It?s a great shame that so many people are unable to connect. I was one of the fortunate few who got on yesterday (and stayed on for about 10 hours (thank goodness Mrs G was out)).

I really enjoyed the online side of the game and hope the server issues are sorted out ASAP as it can only get better with more squad members.

Well, apart from when we faced live opposition, that was a bit expensive

I wouldnt expect anything different tonight. I tried this morning before I got ready for work at 6:15 and still couldnt get on. I reckon a lot of people are just leaving their machines connected

Anybody got access to the manual want to post up the support line number at the back ? Tried it Saturday but nobody answered - I'm in the right frame of mind just now to give them the bollocking they so rightly deserve.

They've updated the message on the support site, it's not looking good.

We are currently experiencing some issues with the online component of Chromehounds. We have discovered that there is an artifical limit on the number of players that are able to play online at any one time. SEGA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to assure you that we are working to correct this issue. We have already carried out two rounds of server maintenance and greatly increased the number of players that can play online. We are working with From Software and Microsoft and hope to increase this number even further.

Unfortunately at this time we do not have an estimated time for these changes to be complete. However, this answer will be updated as soon as we do have more information so please check back at a later time.

The reference to tomorrow's maintenance has been removed so they can't be confident that's even going to work (apparently it's been like this in Japan for over a week). I'm starting to feel ripped off. ?40 for the game, ?40 for XBL and that gets you a bunch of short training missions you can finish in a day. Offline.
