Hehehehe, now this is bringing back memories of the Japanese duels I had with Bleeders. I'm having some absolutely superb duels with American players at the moment (And beating every single one of them)

I'm still getting to grips with it after so long of absense, with Miki still being my favourite for her missile stun.

So what controls do you guys use? The 360 version re-working or do you re-map to the original Arcade controls. I must admit, I think the 360 control config has too many buttons for my liking. I might try and re-map later on when I get a chance to play.

I am more and more impressed with the game the longer I play, although I had instantly dismissed the game on its first go. However something keeps making me return to it, and so far I can't wait to get back to it. Its made me forget about the long wait for Forza 2.

Only thing that bugs me, and this is true of just about every game of this type. No moves list on the training menu!

Not sure I like the default controls. Seems to easy to press the barrier trigger while you're using the attack buttons and end up going into Boss mode at the wrong time. I seem to do that just about every round. :\

I'd like to try Senko with an arcade stick but there's no way I can afford to buy one just for this game.

my copy also arrived today. top quality arcade stuff, not as daunting as i first heard. found myself getting into it preety easy, im only a beginner so i will get my ass handed to me online. but the single player is really easy on the normal difficulty. will definetly be putting serious hours into this in the week. kudos to ubisoft for publishing it in the west and doing a good quality localisation (instructions are nicely detailed).

Madness I tell yaz. Once I got the circumference weapon things sorted it felt a bit better but wtf is going on with that big spaceship boss at the end ?

10 minutes... WTF, what is that circle thing? Why is it red? Why wont my mech shoot all the time? Why wont he block? He aint boosting when I want, I am nearly dead. Why is he getting bigger? what is th... aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

30 minutes... Ah, its my wepaon range and it is the reload indicator. Right, its powering up and I dont have enough of that charge gauge thing. I see, I need to cancel the boost and use it again... right. Hes using his BOSS mode again, wai... aahhhhhhhhhhh!!

2 hours, multiple live games with Bleeders and a story mode run through... Woohoo, this Rounder is my favourite so far, its got great speed and I love its sub weapon... just need to time my BOSS mode a bit finer and I will be able to ace this next battle. My god this game looks gorgeous, if I wasn't concentrating so hard on moving so fast I am invisible I would really take a good look at the background and animations. So much fun though, those live games were great and they will just get better and better as I start to find the mech that suits my style, am so glad I pushed on with this, I LOVE IT!!

The above is my thought process between the hours of 11 and 1 last night. It terrified the life out of me when when I first saw it in motion and got spanked by a training bot that I thought wasn't going to fight back, BUT 2 hours later I am so happy I got involved... more... tonight... everyone!!

Got right back into this yesterday with MardiganX, some great games and the more we played, the more our games improved and the tactical element of the game shone through.

I had a look on Live last night after a few story mode runs and couldn't find a single match.

Noticed that Bleeders had logged on, but by then I was in the middle of a PSU sesh.

I will be on tonight aswell around the back of 10 so keep an eye out mate and we can get some games... every game I played against Bleeders I could feel myself getting stronger, its all about the time you put into games like this and thankfully this is one that rewards you for your patience by giving you soem fantastic live battles.

More often than not Bleeders tore me a new one but it was still fun watching my rounder try its hardest to stay alive yet get nailed by every particle that was on the screen
