Yes, they're very happy, and generally very British. They would also flee at the first sign of danger, bless 'em.

It was touches like that that helped keep me going through the game, also the level 3 boss was good, unlike the end boss who was a snooze fest. In fact I resorted to watching South Park while finishing the game off for the second time.

I played through this again the other day (just to get the Easy achievement) and I'd forgotten that I liked it, in a weird way. A very strange, abject way. Like sucking on coins.

If you look at the leaderboards, there are people playing through Hell mode at least once every month to keep their places near/at the top.

I'll be going back to this at some stage on harder difficulties. For all its faults it does have some lovely touches that keep drawing me back.

A bit late to the party, but I've been giving this a good bash today. Seems very much like Oneechan, but with guns and magic. A bit rough around the edges, but still great fun.

Been playing just cant get into it feels super sluggish even more so than gungrave but at least that had the whole beat count system to elevate a bit above average.
What do people see in this game am i missing something

Its not a very good game, people just like the fact that its very japanese and a niche title.

Its the same reason why games like Earth Defense Force have quite a few fans on here, theres nothing really very good about it at all, but the fact that it has a distinguished kind of badness about it makes it appeal to certain folks, Im pretty sure Its all down to some basic psychological fact really, but dont quote me on that as Im not a psychologist.
