I must be nearing the end now, it's started feeling a little bit more open too.

    SPOILER

    Any tips on

taking out the chopper in the park? I've used loads of machine gun fire and I *think* it's hitting but still not going down. I'm guessing from the name of one of the achievements that this is something that needs to be done!

I found it easiest to use the sniper rifle. Aim for

the pilot or the tail rotor

and it shouldn't take that many shots.

I don't think there's any real visible signs of damage (it just

      buggers off

when you do it) so you might have been hitting it with the MG.

The game is starting to click now, After playing it for a bit and dieing repeatedly I'm quite enjoying it now.

Well after starting again I wizzed through case 1 in like 20 minutes and set myself up ready for the Adam the Clown battle - will remember to save the brer on the rollercoaster this time . So very slow progress but I'm gonna stick with it

Well after dying in my game and saving stats by mistake, I went to my friends house as he was playing his and we're like a good 3 or 4 hours into that one now and loving it, but I've got to do it all again which is slightly annoying!

Going to get stuck in now.

I'm abit confused now by the save system and how Frank levels up. I saved just after the lights had gone out on the first day and decided to tackle the out of control ride. Enroute I level'd up to level 8 and gained a new item slot. Anyway Adam ended up killing me so I loaded my save, and strangely enough the lights are now back on, I'm still level 8 and I've now lost my extra item slot

Do the Jeep boys in the park respawn after you've already killed them?

[EDIT] I've now found out how to stop the convicts from respawning.

Just finished it with ending A, not sure how I managed that when I only saved 11 people
Finished on level 32 I think.

Just done the mission in the underground tunnels & wow, is that incredibly easy when you know what you're doing.

I took the bike down initially, managed to get to the second bomb with it when Carlito appeared & blew it up. Took out my Katana & promptly sliced him up to trigger the cutscene so he was no longer a problem, then I just kept stealing shopping trollies until I'd collected all the bombs. Initially I thought this mission represented a huge difficulty hike but its not really. Also found a room in the middle which contained the Maintenance Tunnel key which was a nice bonus.

                    Roll on Case 8!

is it just luck or is there a set way to stop them

                        You must...

Destroy the jeep as well as the convicts to stop them respawning in future visits to the park at night. The jeep can be destroyed by crashing it into trees and you will know it is nackered when smoke comes from the thing. I found the best way to kill them was from afar with the Sniper rifle or with the UZI upclose. If you have no weapons, I found the skateboard to be the best way to cut through the park at night.

I tried both destroying the jeep and leaving it working after killing the convicts and they ended up respawning both ways.

Well I completed it last night, properly

with the 4th day and the true ending.

                            Most extended ending ever.

Still not don't know my conclusions on the game though. There were some parts (particularly in the latter half of Day 3, and Day 4) that were superb, and then there were other parts (fetch and carry tasks, a 1998 MGS Snake-vs-Liquid hand-fight that was irritating and repetitive) which just served to remind me how clumsy the overall experience could be at times.

To Capcom's credit though... they certainly delivered surprises and twists the further the story got on. After the helicopter crashed and the credits rolled, I didn't think I'd be still playing it an hour later. Good stuff.

I think I'm going to restart the whole thing... I seem to be getting nowhere, I'm on day 2, I've met a woman, and a couple of Japanese tourists, all whom died..... I think maybe I'm just not very good at it

I seem to spend ages looking for a toilets once I've had enough and want to save the game.

Do you level up by killing zombies?

Many of the AI missions annoyed me as well. I saved 12 people, but the whole taking them back to the room and babysitting their stupidity underlined the repetition and clumsiness, even with the
