Actually finished Case 1 now! I basically stocked up on health items and avoided the convicts.

I assume the little 'gap' between the end of Case 1 and the beginning of Case 2 was supposed to be for you to get some more PP, but I'm not really sure how to get much, aside from rescuing survivors.... killing zombies gives you bugger all, and even taking decent photos doesn't add loads. Lvl8 now I think.

Dispite the above, I am enjoying the game... it's just hardly the most accessible game around. I reckon people who aren't quite as 'into' games as us would find this game too hard, it really sorta filters people out, ending up with the kind of person willing to give the game enough of a chance so that it gets enjoyable.

Decent game here, really... but there's a lot of work with the basic structure to make the game more accessible. A game dying for a sequal.

Two-player co-op would be nice too, even if it's offline only.

Didn't stop it selling extremely well though did it?
yeh some sort of 2 player split screen would be good.

I agree about the first part - IIRC that's exactly what it said - but not the second. I thought it said that

the potentially-infected kids plot was still unresolved. I took that to be possible sequel material.

I thought that the whole game, and especially the conclusion, was kind of interesting as an outsider's view of the US. The points that the game made - US overconsumption having horrible consequences elsewhere, a media-saturated public who can quickly forget something like Willamette, the stuff that the crazy sniper psychos say about American's God-given rights etc etc - are all a bit obvious and heavy-handed but not your run-of-the-mill videogame stuff

I'm having a problem with the

boss fight. I defeat the said boss and yet I'm shown a cutscene of them riding off and then the case expires. I've reloaded and tried it a couple of times, same thing everytime. Am I missing something?

You have to get there AND deafeat the boss within the time limit, I think it's the only boss fight where the timer keeps going down whilst in the fight...that might be the problem.

Yeah I thought that, but I'm sure the timer was still showing red last time I tried it. It's not like she is just giving up mid fight, it's always after the last bullet has hit.

Yup, just did it again and there was definitely within the timer. I'm wondering if you have to met her before it hits red?

Not that I recall but with my first playthrough as soon as a case started I went and did it straight away.

Are you going inside Seons supermarket at all? The first fight I went low on health so went in quickly to get some orange juice and it ended the fight and I got the cut-scene you mentioned above.

Get there straight away, jump on the scaffolding and just shoot away until you win. Should leave the bike there for you if you've done it right.

No, I'm not going into the supermarket, I did that on my first attempt. Looks like a bug to me, no matter what I do I get the same outcome. No matter I've let the case expire and I will attempt to do that case sooner next run through.

It's clicked for me now!
I'm at lvl18, high enough so I can actually play the game and not worry about dying at every cutscene... just beat the convicts like they were nothing, and killed the 3 snipers in the Entrance plaza with a knife and battle axe!
It seems to be getting much easier to gain PP too, with the yellow psychopaths everywhere, and the player becoming more sensible about which case files are worth the trek.

No doubt the game will throw harder enemies my way now, but...

Yes and yes, although you have to still be at the helipad on time...I think ending B may be the "happiest".

So I have finished case 1,

waiting for case 2 and I decided to save some people, I took out the convicts and drove their car for a while then got some survivors, had to come back through the park and the buggers had respawned!! How do you stop them doing this? trash the car?

They will always respawn unfortunately.

Just when I thought I was doing well, I gotta start over cause I ran out of time. There was no time indicator on that specific mission (getting the medicine), so I thought I'd do a few scoops.

Huh? No you don't, if you fail a case it asks if you want to load your save.

Yeah But I have a feeling previous save wasn't too far back anyway, I likely over-ran ages ago.
