Oh I get it, a cheap way to kill the cheapest boss.

My wife walked in right before the
fight and even she said "thats really cheap" when I got to the last boss. I guess I've been saying that a lot this week.

I really feel bosses like this one should have stopped being created a long time ago...it's a real kick in the teeth after an experience thats on the whole, enjoyable but at times incredibly frustrating.

Literally spent all day playing this. Have already finished it a few times, though I have yet to really touch the main case.

Today I decided to go for the big one, and try and get the Zombie Genocide achievement! Took at least 3 hours to do, but I got there in the end and did it

      In doing that I unlocked

      The Real Mega Buster!!

Which is sure to make the main case miles easier now!

      Got to Carlito

in the food court, and he decided one shot was enough for him and he died 0

Having Frank Powered up fully makes life much easier too!

I went up against the three snipers and for some reason their bullets had no effect on me at all simply ran up to them and chainsawed them to death. Very odd, but now I have a sniper rifle, Ho Ho Ho!

I managed to defeat those guys by trapping them in a shoe shop and batter them to death with a till and a plant

I've been playing this constantly for the last 4 hours. I think I'm going to have to start from the beginning as I saved with only one health and I'm right in the middle of a hornets nest (cultists all over the place), I just keep getting battered.

I got one of the snipers cornered in the boutique at the top of the escalators and battered them with the giant novelty lipstick (I've found that to be a weapon of choice actually, for that type of whacking utensil).

After finishing Day 3, with what I presume is the worst ending possible (!!).... I'm starting playing through again.

Saved way more people than before now I knew what to do..... I just reached the Clown again, died, and thought "**** it, for tonight", because I've seen it and done it.. Felt kinda cheated to have to play the game from the start because on the first run I didn't know the layout of the mall or have enough skills to reach all the goals.... The last day of my first run was pretty much spent waiting for the timer to run down, just trashing zombies, since all the cases were gone by Day 2 and everyone else was dead, so it was the only thing to do (as fun as it is to trash hundreds of zombies!)

So, the game seems specifically designed to be played through multiple times, and the more you play, the more you can see and do because you memorize where people, and when events, are... so you can get them done quicker the next time, and move onto the things you missed before.... and the easier it is each time, because each time you play it from the start, your level is higher and you have more skills/strength/life....

I think it's this non-linear, but extremely repetitive style of game design that is the root of most people's niggles with the game, as opposed to the save function....

It's certainly an 'individual' way to make a game!....

It was a fun game, but it wasn't really what I expected... And not sure I have the desire to repeat everything over and over in order to save a few more ungrateful survivors and see a few cut scenes.

Well a mate and I sat playing this until 3am last night without realising it. Its just so fun when it all clicks together.

Level 33 or something so totally tanking it on skills and weapon slots etc, its just so fun. Finally done the

              bomb run

which was immense fun, and I done it first time! So tense though, I finished it with 1 health bar left, and had to wade through hundreds and thousands of zombies without getting a scratch, dont know how I managed it, must have walked a good 100 metres on their backs!!! Because I was using the motorbike at first but I chainsawed that by mistake, then used my skateboard but it was too hard to weave inbetween them and that got trashed, then managed to find a few trolleys, but they ran out and it came down to just sheer determination to get through it first time without dying! Excellent fun, and I got my kill count up to over 5,000. Which was immense fun on its out just ramming through hundreds of zombies in an ambulance. The game just doesnt give up. Its now 12pm and the

SWAT team, or whatever they're calling them

have just arrived, so I'll finish it off tomorrow I reckon.

I've seen people saying how they complete it and dont unlock Overtime Mode, is this correct? Is there any certain thing I need to do to make sure I unlock this?

                SPOILER

As long as you complete ALL case files, go to Isabela at 10AM on the final day (and get a cutscene involving the special forces soldiers) and then return to the helipad by 12PM, it should unlock.

Once I did my 53,000 odd kill count yesterday, I thought I might see what other fun I could have.

Started the game again, killed Natalie (the first person you can rescue on the roof) THEN took Jim to her. Needless to say he was rather upset at the sight of his dead wife and started crying.

I tried my best to make him feel better but accidently face planted him into the ground. He really lost his rag when I

attempted to rip his guts out, and the words to the effect Jeff has Mutanied appeared on screen and he starting coming for me! Nothing a Suplex and another face plant didn't fix mind you!

After that I went out in the garden bit where the convicts life. Killed them because I could (revenge is sweet) and rescued Sophie. Had a little accident with her though

She got jumped and a Zombie thought it would be nice to rip her guts out THROUGH her mouth! Needless to say she wasn't happy and turned undead and came after me! Nothing a giant swing didn't fix though - she did lose her head, both her arms, AND her legs as a result of this mind you.....

Don't even need to try to play this properly to have a laugh!

Well I'm on Case 5 and the vibe has definitely changed with this game, knowing that saving in the wrong place can spell disaster is making things a little more tense. Part of me really wants to finish the story mode but my more mischievous side wants to take the Sniper Rifle and go cap them convict fools...too many distractions, must focus...

LOL - I took care of the convicts with the hunting knife last night.

I've only just realised the beauty of the heavy chainsaws. Starting them up and then running through crowds of zombies in Al Fresca, waving it around in a figure-8 is one of the finest things I've ever seen in a videogame.

Also... Has anyone noticed the best way of taking care of the

Special-Ops dudes is by simply running up to them and gutting them? Even in groups the others just stand in awe during the heavy invincibilty phase of the move. I took six of them on in Seon's Supermarket and only lost one health.

With just a knife? That's legendary Mr Fallows!

I took them down with a shotgun once, pretty easy actually, if you get them stuck behind a tree or something!

Also as somone mentioned before it's hilariously funny to

Take the gunner on the back out, run up behind them, nab the huge machine gun then unload on the two left with it!

I'm gonna try it bare-handed tonight.

I think a filmed bare-handed run-through is in order. I used to love clocking Resi 2 with just the knife.

Frank is ace. I've even started walking like him IRL so that I can look harder.

I reckon barehanded it could be done, with some luck involved too mind you! Still I'd love to see it!

How about as another way try chucking things at them! Something like a bench would be amusing! Anything really!

If walking hard is the order of the day you need to perfect the 'Crank' walk mate (which is a movie you NEED to see if you haven't already) - that's a hard mans walk if ever there was one.

Seeing it tomorrow night and paying extra to sit in the director's auditorium! I've never been in there before.
