You can get the book called World News from the Sinistar Read in Entrance Plaza.

My Adam encounters go a little like this:

I use a 2x4, I encourage him to jump over the ride to my position then first him after he shoots flame, when he's down I stay away from his flame burst, hit him again, when he blows up a gas balloon, I hit it while he's still blowing into it to burst it. You both get imobilised but Frank recovers first, hit him again. Don't run away from him or he wil throw knives or do the spinning chainsaw attack. Also if he is covering himself with crossed chainsaws don't hit him or you will permanently lose you weapon.

God I think I have played this game too much I have even found myself wondering around Willamette Shopping Mall in my sleep.

Guns for when he's blowing balloons or otherwise engaged, katana for the rest - job done.

Out of interest how long did it take you guys to get 10

              queens during overtime mode

...I've got the rest of the stuff done, just need to do that and the generator.

So, how long did it take to find em, and where did you search...the tunnels?

I hate clowns, so I've never let him get near to me That cut scene was the best thing ever - real deep therapy!

About 15 minutes, took 2 trips. I did it in the tunnels, by the meat plant and just kept hopping in and out to get milk/weapons. Just slash the **** out of anything outside the room, should get what you need real fast.

I thought I was going to love this game as I loved the demo but I dont think Ive ever been so disspointed there are just too many flaws, The NPC AI is horrific, Only having one save can break the game and I dont give a **** if its "realistic" cos theres no way I replaying 5 hours because I screwed up a save, I cant understand why everything isnt spoken, for example when the phone rings in the middle of a group of zombies, you answer it to get scoop and its TEXT ONLY!!!! WTF?? I dont have time to read the text cos im trying to dodge zombies and considering each paragraph of text flashes by far too quickly I find it hard to read anyway, having it spoken would have solved both these problems and I can only see it as being sloppyness for it not being so. I cant find anywhere to recharge my batteries in my camera, granted I havnt looked properly but I dont have time when the people im escorting are being munched upon or stuck behind a plant pot. Does anyone else share my annoyances?

Its the sort of game you have to spend time with - you can't just pick it up and bash through it like God Of War or something. Where do you think you could get batteries for a Camera from mate? Camera shop perhaps

I agree about the lack of speech in the game, its a next gen game FFS - soon got used to it tho.

Aint seen one yet, but other things such as no warning on boss fights and if you dont have a gun then ur pretty much screwed, just got to the convicts and I have 2 frying pans. fat chance I have, used all my ammo trying to save the japanese guys but they died like everyone else cos they got stuck behind stuff, I might start from the beginning again and approach it differently

                          Thats the key right there

I had the same problems until I started again with a general idea of what I was supposed to be doing. After 10 minutes I'd convinced myself I wanted to play through first time and get 50+ survivors.

Use waypoints. My people never get stuck anymore. Let them lead the way whilst you pick zombies off with the handguns - and give your survivors basic melee weapons just in case.

If this game had frequent saves it would break it beyond belief. It's too easy as it is.

Christ, it doesn't take long to suss stuff out. I'm quite disappointed that I'm so far into the game after only playing casually over the week. I haven't exactly 'caned' it (although moreso than any other 360 game to date). I've had FFXI engagements at the same time as well.

I'm looking forward to Lost Planet even more now - I hope that shares the same save system. Even if it doesn't that's how I'm going to play anyway, and Resi from now on too.

There are cheaper third party alternatives too, but I believe they are a false economy.

I won't go into too much detail, but the cable that comes with all games consoles (the 3 different coloured plugs) is a Composite cable, with a Scart adaptor block. It's crap.

RGB Scart is what you should go for on all games consoles (which is what the above cable is), and you should do the same for your other games consoles too.
Thank you its ordered, got to the Psycho in the Mall last night and killed him slowly but surely, then got killed by zombies in there....

Its tough but I always want to go back to it, its such fun much in the way resident evil was first time around.

Ooh and the attract trailer with mother and child is pretty creepy! nice little extra, does it tie in anywhere?

I think it very much depends on the level you are at. I'm in overtime mode for the first time and now I'm at level 31.

I'm finding it very easy now, basically stocking my 9 slots up with 3 x OJ/Wine, 3 x Katana/Sword and usually a Sniper rifle or Assault rifle.

The maintenence tunnels will NEVER get boring...honestly, the 53,000+ achievement will be fun on a rainy day off, it'll just be great fun!

I want to put overtime mode to bed and go through 72 hour again, forget all the main cases and just do scoops because I missed SO much first play, I don't think I expored the entrance plaza at all let alone the other places. I only just found the garden centre and gun shop in North plaza!

                                The real shame is that

when the zombies are all gone in overtime mode, it makes for one of the most enjoyable sections of the game because you can just explore. I think I've seen more of the mall in overtime mode so far (only up to getting the queens) that I saw in the rest of the entire 72 hour mode!!

                                .

I love this game, I so badly wanna play Saints Row but I just can't stop playing this.

That said, there are so many things they could have improved to make it a surefire 10/10.

Survivor AI = Awful, can be a gamebreaker at times.

Save system = Didn't bother me but isn't that brilliant to be honest.
Quit to main menu = In this day and age that is a disgrace.

Loading = a LOT, really could use the HDD a bit more perhaps and stream better.

Survivor AI = I know I mentioned it already, but it is SOOOOOO poor at times it deserves to be in this list twice. Seriously, how ****ing hard can it be? I clear a nice path with my katana but you want to run into a crowd? Stupid stupid stupid ****ing stupid twats!

I'm suprised there isn't a "Free roam" game mode but then I suppose if you just ignore the cases/scoops that IS free roam. I guess I'd like an infinite mode without the lack of food etc really.

Ultimately this game does have failings but the sheer amount of fun to be had far outweighs anything bad you could feel about it. I've not had to restart once, I may be lucky I don't know...but basically I've found it mainly fun but a chore at times. The game really comes into its own around the end of day 2/beginning of day 3.

As soon as you leave the warehouse, turn around and you should see a camera shop. Regarding the cons, I went the entire 72 hour mode NEVER killing them. The closest I got was when I got a car and smashed into them, killing the passenger with a baseball bat. You really can dodge them first play. Second playthrough when I intend to save loads of people I'll be heading straight out there and shooting them to ****.

Oh and AngelX, no it doesn't tie in anywhere really, it's just an attract trailor.
